Threads like this is why good, informative threads get pushed down to the bottom.

And yes, with the weekly boss, weekly arena, the beast chest, the LTQ, it does add to the clutter. Consolidation would help.

They could relate the epic boss and the tourney together and condense the weekly threads into one.

I think that consolidating several of the sticky threads would help the situation. Here's my idea for improving the situation:

1) Current Epic Boss (including any current Epic Boss Armor Collection)
2) Current Tournament
3) Current Guild War (if active or upcoming)
4) Current Limited Edition Chest (if active or upcoming)
5) Current Limited Edition Quest (if active or upcoming)
6) Combined Player Guides - which merges
--Things I Wish I Knew When I Was A Noob by Radlonghammer
--Armor Leveling Research. Please Contribute.
--Rad's Guide to Beating the Epic Boss
7) Posting Guidelines, and Welcome! (including Personal Information Safety)

I can't see any way of merging threads 1-5 since each event starts and ends at different times. (Epic Boss & Tournament are off by a day). #6 covers all player guides, and #7 covers official forum rules.


What does everyone think? I'd like to send this along to The Wise One after people give feedback here.

It's interesting that this thread and discussion came just two hours after I started a similar thread, lol. My original intent was simply to consolidate links to some of the good spreadsheets that haven't been stickied. By making it myself, I could search my threads to find those links easier. Some of you have given me some feedback so that we might be able to make it serve the purposes discussed in this thread as well (thanks tollerach).

What if the Arena, Epic Boss, Chest, etc threads were consolidated into a single moderator sticky with links to the detailed threads in the Announcements section?
