I sent a bug report about this to Gree and a message to The Wise One last week. The Wise One hasn't responded, and Gree just closed the ticket with the response "We checked, it still correctly accounting on our end, but it was properly displaying on the device. However, it didn’t affect any outcome."
I am skeptical. (And not just about the language skills of the person who closed the ticket.)
Here's the bug:
Looking at the numbers from the guild war, we see a large discrepancy between the number of wins shown on the history screen and on the "main" tab, and between the point totals from adding up battles vs. that reported on "main" tab and Leaderboard.
The Rainbow Room had a total of 62 fights: 61 wins, one loss. This is shown correctly on
the Battle History screen, which also shows a point total of 11,064,022 points. This seems to be the correct number; it matches my own match-by-match accounting.
The "Main" tab and the Leaderboard, however, show battle results of 66 wins, 1 loss and a
point total of 11,363,343.
Similarly, Rainbow Party shows 5,015,934 points on the Battle History screen, but 5,064,076 points on the Leaderboard.
The extra points didn't make a difference in The Rainbow Room or Rainbow Party's standing. But the difference between 10th and 11th places was only about 4,000 points, so one extra fight like this
could easily have changed who got the Bronze Medal prizes.
This error started as early as the second fight, though we didn't realize it until looking back at records after the war ended. Our Battle History screen after the 2nd fight showed 2 wins and 935,025 points. The Main tab after the 2nd fight showed 3 wins and 1,071,188 points. It's as if one fight from some other guild was accidentally added to our score.
I urge all of the guilds who kept screenshots to check their scores carefully and post your findings to this thread. Maybe we can get a more coherent response from Gree/Wise One.
