Honor rewarded from the Raid boss = new building?

What is with all the honor being awarded for every other part of the raid boss. Last event we heard rumors about a new building possibly being given out as a prize( so we were told to have extra land space open). Do you think all the honor being awarded will be used to purchase that so called "new building?" If not this honor is useless compared to units that arent being given out.

Any thoughts?
