Updated iOS 7 and game is reset

So correct me if I'm wrong but Gree recommended to update the game first then update iOS 7, right?

Anyway, I just updated to iOS 7 and when I started modern war it appears to be reset. It is asking me to choose my nation etc. has this happened anyone? Any ideas as to what to do about it?
