New iOS Update!

Hey guys,

A heads up to those moving over to ios7 to please wait for the new MW build to come out.

It's been submitted to iTunes and is currently going through their approval process.

If you decide to upgrade beforehand to ios7, just know that you may encounter a few issues with the current build of the game.

I apparently have updates this 3 times?? Two times by "searching" modern war finding it and it having "update" next to it, and once modern war was in my "updates " section in my App Store, now I go back to search modern war and updates still next to it?? Any ideas?

Same here. Why has the cost of upgrades jumped so much?

Its just another display glitch.... I can confirm that my last upgrade was supposed to cost 817 mil, but I "only" paid 740 mil, which is the correct cost based on my boosts.

What was the point of the upgrade? What was Gree doing with it?

I updated, and its not only displaying wrong figure but also requires the full declared value to be available. (iOS)

As Junkkicker mentioned, it shows the wrong amount, but you pay the correct amount. Unfortunately, you can't make the purchase unless you have the full (wrong) amount available.

I have version 3.8.2 and it says all apps up to date. Should I wait to download ios7?

You will be notified to update to 3.8.4, once that's installed you'll notice the incorrect upgrade costs. But if you go back to iTunes, and search for modern war, it will say update again, when you click update, it will 'update' to 3.8.2 which has the right upgrade amounts. But it's really a downgrade. Just a temp. Fix for the building cost upgrade until then I guess.

Ground defence 30%-maxed
Ground attack 15%
Infantry defence 30%-maxed
Infantry attack 15%
Building defence 30%-maxed
Building output 20%

My question is for people that can not updated from IOS 6,
a) will features in 3.8.4 be the same for those on IOS 7 ie. future bad guy's and mission types?
b) if people on IOS 6 have the same game features how long before Gree drops support for IOS 6?

I can confirm there is a display glitch with the new iOS update. The arc de triomphe lvl 3 upgrade should have been 111mil with my bonuses, but it went up to 123mil. When purchased however it only took 111mil so no big deal right? Wrong, because it would not let me upgrade until I had 123mil. So this will cause issues, especially for those big upgrades.

Is there any way Gree could enlarge the print on the player wall. I updated MW the other day and iOS 7 today and now the print I'd tiny. So far, that's the only problem I've found. Thanks.

Seems that I updated my iPad 3 to iOS 7 and now I can't easily type in the faction chat....locks up after every single letter for about 10 secs, no matter whether you press space bar or letters or delete, all takes about 10-15 seconds to respond...really troublesome.

Anyone else getting this??

I just got the new iPhone and ios. The version of MW 3.8.4 doesn't have Funzio login in the " more " section. This is the only way I found to transfer the account from one phone to another. Anyone have advice?

Sooo....anyone else found the Elite units yet in the maps? Was doing maintenance in the Communications Outpost and found two new dudes walking about. Elite Commander (234 energy 0/20) and Elite Col. (250 energy 0/20). I'm afraid to look for more.

MW 3.8.2 was released late last week and included a splash screen warning, insisting that we upgrade to mw3.8.4 binary BEFORE upgrading to iOS 7. Well that's worked out well! Our entire faction is down due to another bungled software deployment right around WD time.

Lost my account after MW update but was waiting til after war for iOS. Lost it on Thursday and just got it back today! Great turn around time! lol was expecting somewhere around Christmas.

After 3 emails provided requested information, and a week going by, I am no closer to getting into my character than I was when I started. Soon, it will not be worth playing anymore. This is the kind of response from Gree (or lack of it) that really alienates players.

since update when i raid and attack targets and people and the epic enemy opens, the building doesnt spray out rewards but I still get them I believe. anyone else notice this?
