Petition to ban Forsaken for cheating and abusing their cheats

As most android players know, their is a guild called Forsaken that abused a glitch. They maxed out all of their stat bonuses and guardians. Now, because of this glitch, they are number 2 on the android leaderboard. Gree has knocked back their elemental bonuses so that they only have of each. They have not, however knocked back their guardians and kicked them from the guild wars. Cheating is against their terms of services and should not be allowed because somebody buys gems. The guild Forsaken MUST be kicked out of guild wars and their stats reset to level 1. Everybody, please post whether you think Gree should allow them to keep their spot, or whether they should be reset. Thank you.

As not each person took a part in this, the guild needs to be punished because someone in command abused the glitch. Then the guild took advantage of said glitch and kept using Lv10 guardians. Try to defend all you want that you would be in #2 or whatever, the point is you cheated. Being in #2 is moot.

EVERY guild that cheated needs to be punished. You don't just let guilds cheat and just reroll them. Remove all of them from the war. Refund them their gems.

It isn't just the War that they are abusing their advantage in. Check the FSK members in the Arena and Epic Boss leaderboards. These guys haven't even gotten medals before and now they are in Silver and above.

If you're going to let people cheat, then you better believe more people will cheat.

I had heard about this glitch but didn't think anything about it because of ToS. If I would have known guilds wouldn't have gotten punished I would have used it. My little guildies would have loved to have Sky Guardian+ or even Guardian's Battlegear + for thier next arena or guild war.

Our elements were all rolled back to 2% also. Most likely gree ran something auto to roll anyone back who triggered it. So I guess that same auto thing would punish all the guilds again the same if the decide to do that. Sucks for every guild that sold 1 guardian before and early on during the war.

I just heard about the "glitch" and now I read they bought gems to take advantage of this glitch? I dont really know how the glitch works and just heard team mates say it was cheating to take advantage of it.

Im rather new to Gree forum and know there were other glitches that had I been here and known about I would not have had to drop real money to buy gems to level up all my playing fields as a for instance. I feel rather cheated myself that there was so much I could have done that isnt really really considered cheating, so its hard to know where to draw the line since it's also obvious, he who spends gems wins the top spots. Im not crazy that you have to spend gems to win the top spots, but I do.

If there was a glitch, I'd like to know what they did other than buy gems to take advantage of it? Once you hit lvl 10 there was a time you could just keep leveling it up? with gems?

I think I would be in between and I will sign the petition if they truly cheated, maybe cut their score in half. .. but not ban them if the glitch was Gree's fault.

So, my choice is cut their points in half or even one quarter down, punish them, but not to ban them. I think banning them if it's Gree's fault is too severe.

They accidentally discovered it and immediately reported it, and refrained from using it after that. Yet Gree decided to reward their honesty by rolling them back too.

So basically Gree's messages to the community with all this are:

You will be punished for honesty.
You won't be punished for cheating.
If you spend money the punishment will be less severe.

Also they have yet to do anything about the Hackers on YouTube posting videos of their 10 Million Dark Prince keys, 50 Million Gold and 600+ mats for White Kale, Dragon Tamer and Steam Exo.

There's tons of people that hack there gold on YouTube for runescape also but it'd not possible since gold is server side so it's either a visual bug or phottoshopped to get u to click a link and infect or PC or get u to do some surveys.

If you consider having max bonuses to make things REALLY easy for them and MUCH HARDER for other people "a little" issue then you should really analyze these things better. Imagine someone getting +1 points and the opponent getting -1 for every battle until they 'fixed' the glitch. This is a very simplistic example that even you should understand. This was and IS NOT "little" because this allowed them to get a few HUNDRED thousand points (about 2 or 3 if I remember correctly, maybe even more).
What does this mean to the overall war? The ones they won at the beginning might not have been that way if they didn't have the bonus. If they DIDN'T win those, they wouldn't have gotten +50% points. The other team(s) would have. Think about this in terms of 4 or 5 war battles. This was REALLY unfair for many of the OTHER teams that lost to them. I don't deny at all that they used gems to get to where they are but you are taking this a bit too lightly.
Choose your words wisely. This is no 'little' matter. There are quite a few other factors to consider, too.. I just don't want to type out a wall of text.

Here is my dilemna. We are ranked between #5 and #7, switches around every battle its so close right now.

If I say ban them, that would pretty much guarantee us top ten.

Majestic is going to win, they are really good .. but we are right below the top teams and banning #2 team means we win top ten, so if I say yes ban them.. it puts me in a bad spot.

It doesn't put you in a bad spot. You're entitled to your own opinion and that opinion means to have your guild at a better spot for better rewards. If it helps out everyone else in the end, then so be it, but there needs to be other repercussions.. More than what has been done. Other guilds have suffered (I can't even imagine how many points other guilds have lost to FSK) and they can't get those points (and possibly lots of bonus points) back.

Thank you! It's good to know you understand our logic and can back us up because this is really a big issue. At this point, it's not even about protecting our own hides (we've got a decent lead and plenty of us have good amounts of gems left). It's about the other guilds who have been affected. Namely Majestic Alliance and Unicorn Stampede because if things were different, they would PROBABLY/MOST LIKELY be 2nd and 3rd. To go even further, it's also about not spending as many gems as we need to. Consider having spent about 1k+ gems to kick FSK's butt every time we've battled them. That's a ton of gems. Anyone can agree with that. It would probably have been HALF that if they weren't such jerks at the beginning.

I contacted Wise One the morning of guild war and asked him to reverse the glitch. We booted the player responsible for the glitch before GW started. We lost 6 of our first 10 battles because none of our water armor worked. Since glitches were reversed, we have scored almost 2 million points as a guild with 2-4% boosts. We have done this out of the fact that we agreed that the first 800,000 points happened during our element glitch and we are concerned those points may get taken away. We will end up at Gold Medal level with or without day 1 points.

Again, I am truly sorry to any who are angry at us. In fact, if you are a gem spender and want to help us take down Majestic next war, we are the best option right now to do that. Fact is, we are Gem spending lunatics...just like Majestic. Simply not quite as strong as them yet...but we are getting closer. Majestic hasn't even lost a battle. We give a HUGE kudos to them out of respect. Even if we cant catch majestic this war, next one we will try again. Yes, Gree, Youre Welcome for the competition as it entices spending.

We are currently 26 wins, 10 losses. Most losses come from Majestic and DK. We beat Majestic Alliance today in a war where both guilds scored about 200k before bonuses. Was epic. Great fight from them. Cant believe how strong they are as a 2 week old guild. Great job.

I have been up fighting the last two nights, and probably missed one fight each night for falling asleep, but have fought every single other fight since this war began because I want top ten so bad I can taste it, so I am doing everything I can to make it so. Im really sleepy and of course the thought crosses my mind it would be so easy to say ban the #2 team when we are back to #5.

Code will never be perfect, and someone will always find an exploit that allows them to take advantage
Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not believe that Gree has the capability/capacity to store every transaction that occurs within the game.

If they did they would be able to identify which team member was the perpetrator which could allow a proper investigation.

I hope that in the future, Gree can track all user data as it would help significantly with a wide variety of software issues that have arisen. In particular when Items are not provided to users/gems not given upon purchase or other potentail problems. It would clearly also prevent cheating.

I also agree with Zero's plan.
If Foresaken wants to spend all the money in the world to get them above Majestic, all the more power to them.
I just wish they did so without taking advantage of the system.

I don't agree that these are the three top guilds, though I give the nod to Majestic.

We have been within 100K to 200K of Unicorn all day, and if we wanted to, we could just spend more gems and pass them up. Our choice is not to spend gems if we get the same prize epic armor if we are 2nd or 10th, but we plan to place in top 10 for sure. 100K to 200K, anyone can spend gems and move up or down a couple of places if its important to them. We just choose not to spend big on gems.

I talked to my guild before I again voiced our vote, and admit it is scattered. Some say ban them, some say if we ban them we show we think we cant beat them, we can. Punish them, but we know if we spent a bit more we could move right on up.

Some of my guild say we are top guild and don't need to ban #2 to prove it.

If you want to say these are the teams in top places I agree, but not that 100K or 200K difference means they are better than us. It just means someone is willing to spend a few more gems when its this close.

Obviously, banning them means we can coast into top ten, so that's the only reason I am not voting for the all out ban. Some of my team vote for the ban .. so I'm conveying my whole team's thoughts.

I am objecting to a Majesty team member saying we are not as good as Unicorn who is ranked very close to us and does not have that many more points. Your guild member typed it and I responded. If someone is going to say we are not as good because of a 100K to 200K difference, I am going to stick up for my guild.

i don't agree that these are the three top guilds, though i give the nod to majestic.

We have been within 100k to 200k of unicorn all day, and if we wanted to, we could just spend more gems and pass them up. Our choice is not to spend gems if we get the same prize epic armor if we are 2nd or 10th, but we plan to place in top 10 for sure. 100k to 200k, anyone can spend gems and move up or down a couple of places if its important to them. We just choose not to spend big on gems.

Enough of this smokescreen BS from the entire majestic team. They got 500k points in 1 hour after chatting with me and told them we were bringing it hard. WOW! 500k in an hour. I contacted Wise One the morning of guild war and asked him to reverse the glitch. We booted the player responsible for the glitch before GW started. We lost 6 of our first 10 battles because none of our water armor worked. Since glitches were reversed, we have scored almost 2 million points as a guild with 2-4% boosts. We have done this out of the fact that we agreed that the first 800,000 points happened during our element glitch and we are concerned those points may get taken away. We will end up at Gold Medal level with or without day 1 points.

Again, I am truly sorry to any who are angry at us. In fact, if you are a gem spender and want to help us take down Majestic next war, we are the best option right now to do that. Fact is, we are Gem spending lunatics...just like Majestic. Simply not quite as strong as them yet...but we are getting closer. Majestic hasn't even lost a battle. We give a HUGE kudos to them out of respect. Even if we cant catch majestic this war, next one we will try again. Yes, Gree, Youre Welcome for the competition as it entices spending.

We are currently 26 wins, 10 losses. Most losses come from Majestic and DK. We beat Majestic Alliance today in a war where both guilds scored about 200k before bonuses. Was epic. Great fight from them. Cant believe how strong they are as a 2 week old guild. Great job.

If Gree would like to take away all our points earned day 1, we are ok with that, we would still end up at #2 and have been playing our guts and wallets out as dumb as it is spending $$ on games.

1. Your guild abused a glitch in order to gain 100s of millions worth of guild advantages.

2. Majestic Alliance found the glitch by attempting to sell a guardian and then reported it without abusing it. They received the exact same punishment as you. Fair?

3. You contacted us in line messenger after I had already given up on gree doing anything about this ridiculous box of stupid. At which time you called for a truce to save your guildies money to which I replied with no truce. Why on earth would we go into a truce with a guild that never had a chance to beat us.

4. You repeatedly state that it is only Majestic that is upset about this and we have a war against you because we promised Majestic Alliance the number 2 spot. An utter and complete falsehood as I made that guild and recruited nearly every person in it. The only thing I ever mentioned about position is that I suspected they were good enough to be top 5. 5. We are not the only guild upset about this. We simply have the most active forum community. As I have already stated I have friends and acquaintances in nearly every guild in the top 20. The fact that you're still trying to defend yourself is pathetic. You have bluntly admitted to cheating which therefore makes yourself a liar as you were earlier trying to cover yourself saying one of your high commanders glitches all these element boosts and guardians. While I found it funny at the beginning. The Majestic guys are overdoing it and with that they put them self in a bad light. Why do you guys keep *****ing? Seriously i begin to dislike you.
Of course they got a slight advantage in the first hours, but as they said they even lost alot of them. With only getting 800k in the first 24 hours, they apparently did better after they got reset. (Maybe it is like what inkjects said because they couldnt use water armors, or they just threw in crazy amount of gems) And even without the whole first day points, they still would be on #2. So chill Gree already went to action and wount do anything more. (As they of course approved the massiv gem spending)

Because we farmed Forsaken for about 1,000,000 points. Looks like we are winning by about 1 million. So without us the cheaters get 1st place, and as a guild we agreed that no one wanted that.

Just to clarify and shed some light on the situation. When we saw the apparent exploit, we patched it up asap and took the appropriate actions on guilds that clearly exploited the glitch. When we say exploited, we mean abused the glitch to get ahead of the game constantly and consistently which was all verifiable on our end. All advantages gained from exploiting the bug were than removed to bring balance back to the event.

Thanks to everyone who initially reported the issue to us and to those that did not exploit it willingly. On the bright side, this was a huge improvement from the first guild wars and we look forward to continually making improvements going forward.

Also calling out other guilds etc. is not appropriate behavior on the forums.
