Matching Problems Resolved

Hi everyone,

The problems with syndicate matching should be fixed. There was a problem where some syndicates weren't getting properly cleaned out of the queue, even after being matched. This built over time, which is why event start and yesterday was fine but we got more and more problems building overnight until now. This is also why some matches were pretty poor quality - if we detect someone's been in the queue for a really long time we give higher priority to matching to try and make sure you can fight someone.

Oh thats great gree! We dont have battle for almost 4 hours and fought only once with a top 25 team, fell 20 ranks and lost our top 150 position. Well done gree. :mad:

All my guys r still holding strong. Just lost a lot of points during the problem! When u go up against a team that only has 4 people in it and there highest player is level 40 and only 9500 defense you don't get **** for points and also think gree should do something about gold being used and getting nothing out of it! Just my 2 cents

No its Mr Torgue Flexington, but it was late at night when I created the username and I was thinking of Captain Scarlett and her pirates booty and got that confused with Mr Torgue and hence the name Captain Torgue was created.

We got matched up twice in a row with a 1 man syndicate, smh... Caused us to lose our Top 250, but we came back with a vengeance when it got fixed, and got it back. Thanks for the quick fix Gree :)

Yeah we been getting matched up with syndicates with over 300k IP and we barely have 40k. Kinda big difference there since we only have one level 100.

Didn't you see the thread? Sirius said it was fixed and pointed to this thread, which has nothing to do with the problem. So they probably got the problems confused and quit working on it.

I had similar problems. I was only getting 100s every now and then at the beginning of battles. But after a couple minutes the ip went back up to 400-500s :D ;) ;)

Mentally retarded people have much better common sense around right, wrong, and fairness than the people who make most Gree policies. I think they would probably be better code testers/QA people than whoever is doing it now. I had a boss several years ago who would be perfect at fixing all of Gree's problems on the IT/development side. I just wonder how many people he would fire.

Hope you didn't build your team around the expectation that 300-350K would achieve top ten, like it has every battle prior. I guess IP requirements for top ten teams should include top three IP "just in case Gree extends the battle".

We didn't have a plan for the extension specifically but we do have a tiered IP structure backup plan driven off of levels of Gree's eff ups. We have decided we may need to add some more tiers as we just hit our highest level of expected eff ups.

We are a top 250 team and we have been matched against a top 25 team and now a top 50 team in the space of 4 hours. How's that fixed? Their average attack would almost be the double of our average attack

Our team (top 100) second to last battle was against #3 Rouge's Gallery. I can not find any logic there. They scored 1.2 million + IP on us.

The issue was resolved, at least for a while (late Saturday, most of Sunday), but for whatever reason, it regressed to the same broken formula (that everyone endured on Saturday) for most of today. We found ourselves paired with teams that finished in the top 100 at Ellis Island; as a result, we lost considerable ground in the standings because we couldn't muster sufficient IP to keep us in the running. If it wasn't for the second-to-last match-up with a more manageable team, there's no doubt that we would have finished outside of the top 400 (which is moot now, seeing as we could have secured the very same prize for being part of the top 480 :rolleyes:, which I won't even get into because my anger reserves have been depleted during the past few hours).

YOU are the ones that ruined the game by letting GREE make this a MONEY game!! I enjoy this game very much and enjoy the battles but it is not worth spending real money on, staying up all night on and dropping everything for. SO HOW ABOUT ALL OF YOU STOP TAKING IT TOO SERIOUSLY AND MAKE IT A FAIR FIGHT AGAIN WITH NO GOLD.
