well my stats are about 230K lower (even with all these stupid "updates" to fix it) and i beat people with way higher stats.

I just search for a target 40-50k lower in stats to make sure that won't happen. Works for me and won't cost you a free hit.

As usual, it works on percentage difference, not absolute difference. You can safely beat someone when your stats are 30% greater than theirs. While 100k might be a huge deal when it's 300k attack vs. 200k defense, it's not much of a difference at all when it's 1.7m attack versus 1.6m defense. People seem to be unfamiliar with how stats work now that they're suddenly walking around with much bigger stats than they are used to due to the syndicate LTQ, etc.

i tried both 10% and 20% lower than my stats but losing 3 out of 4?? seriously? and other members from my synd tried 30% less and still losing. its a bit frustrating.

I specifically said 30%, not 10% or 20%. I would love to see some screenshots of you losing to players 30% below you multiple times. In thousands upon thousands of attacks (40k-50k?), I've lost to someone 31.7% below me once.

10% is nothing. 20% is slightly better than a coin flip. If you've ever flipped a coin hundreds of times in a row before, you'd know that getting 3 heads in a row is fairly common.

I would say 80% of your attack is usually fairly safe, but even then, I certainly would not call it 99%. I was just hitting a player at 78% of my attack and probably losing 1 out of 20.

Yea. Using my 82% I've lost maybe a handful out of the thousands of attacks. I figured the 80% would be the 100% success mark. Then again, im under 500k stats so I feel that might put me in a different category. Perhaps even a different algorithm altogether. Idk. I know what works for me.

edit/proof- all 32 losses in my sig were scouting losses

My biggest loss was at 34%. I think the absolute, 100% rock-solid figure is probably 35%, but after 30% it's certainly extremely low odds of losing.
