View Full Version : New reward system for dedicated players?

This game has a lot of dedicated players who enjoy the game for what it is - a good game. My current guild has its fair share of gem spenders (as do many of the top guilds), but all of us are hard core players and want to keep playing for a long time. Most of us won't be able to afford it for much longer under the current system.
The quests were pretty cool while leveling up. I really looked forward to completing them. Really helped focus my playing. I also really liked opening up a new area and watching the fog lift....
Once all the quests are done, and the whole map is visible, I experienced a little bit of a letdown. What to do next?
With all the recent changes, there seems to be more "nerfs" than additions. I don't mind paying for certain events (guild wars), but to have to pay for overall game enjoyment isn't really all that enjoyable.
My suggestion is for a reward system which rewards the hard work of the dedicated player (grinding for materials, saving up gold, maxing storyline and boss armors, etc). Perhaps another set of quests that focus on armor development and/or collection? Maybe even increase the rewards for these quests to include more gems or gold keys? Why does it always have to be extreme chance chests which cost lots of gems?
The addition of guilds was by far the best positive addition to the game. I'd like to see some more positive enhancements to enrich the playing experience.
Please consider increasing the positive aspects of the game for the dedicated player base now that a few negative exploits have been addressed.
Thank you for your time.

I like this idea. I was just thinking this the other day. I'm 100, I am done with the quests, I don't have any epic or arena energy and I have stuff being crafted. I want to play but I have nothing to do. It seems like I could use something more.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Do I want to see more content and rewards that make it accessible for non or light gem spenders to stay competitive? Yes! Do I think gree would do such a thing? Unfortunately not =/

More than anything I'd like to see a continuation of the story (or a whole new story) with new areas to explore.
Even certain areas that can only be accessed after reaching level 100 (to tempt those who finish the story well before this mark).
I'd also like to see the daily rewards improve each day - that is, if you were to play every second day you only get gold/potions/basic materials as a reward.
If you play a second day in a row the reward might be more gold/fusion stone/rare materials.
A third day in a row and the reward could include super rare.
And so on...
It seems like no matter how many days in a row you play (wether it's 2, 5, or 50) the rewards are still the same; gold/potion/basic materials, and on the odd occasion a rare armour.
I play this game for at least a few minutes (just about) every day and I'm over the useless rewards after filling the daily reward bar. I've had better rewards on the first day than through the rest of the week.

They should introduce a subscription at 5 dollars a month that gives you a free castle space for an item that creates 10 gems a day.
Then they will have a guaranteed player base that will support the game.

This would be worthwhile

So essentially you'll want a building that gives you 300 gems (worth roughly 50ish bucks) in a month, for only 5 dollars?

I agree, I'm nearly finished with the quests, all I can see myself doing next is farming to craft armors to max out my current armor,
I would like to see maybe an armor supplies shop/Armery shop
Where you buy the supplies to craft armor or buy the armor it's self
Have like the meterials for 3 star armor selling for 500k each and if you want 4 star armor for 1mil each
I don't know, it's an idea and I would personally have something when I don't feel like donating to the guild haha

I could see that happening for 1 or 2 star armors - essentially you spend gold to buy enhancement materials, but not for 3 - 4 star armors. What would happen to working hard to farm for materials for storyline 3 star armors, or legendary armors?

So how about have it to where you can collect up to 5 gems a day and every gem takes 8 gem shards which are about the same drop rate as Evil Crown Jewels. This would Highly encourage people to do the actual adventure mode without just camping arena/boss and leaving the game. You could also make it to where each gem requires a certain boss to be killed.
Or instead of it being $5 a mo. you could have it to where if the reward of atleast one gem isn't collected daily it takes 2 gems from the owner and just put the price of purchase to be 100 gems.

Well I personally hate farming, currently I need to farm the Dark Prince Gems and that's annoying enough as it is when it sometimes give me the wrong meterials haha, I wouldn't mind spending 1 mil for a single meterial

This idea is worth exploring. $5 per month for 300 gems is a bit low, but the pricing could be adjusted to be comparable or slightly better than the current gem prices. It'd be pretty cool if the gem factory would randomly produce a small group of fusion stones...
I also like the idea of being able to buy materials for craftables armors (not the fusion only armors, and nothing above 1 star). We all know farming is tedious (but necessary), and this idea would serve to enhance the farming process. Make the prices expensive enough to avoid exploitation or unbalancing, yet cheap enough to not be completely unreasonable.
New areas would be absolutely awesome, but I don't know how feasible it would be from the developers end. The game is programmed in such a way that to increase the board space might mean reprogramming the entire architecture of the game...only the developers would know. Based on the current guild war model, however, it appears the developers are only building on systems already in existence rather than creating completely new systems (the guild war is basically the arena battle, the guardian battle is basically an Epic Boss fight). It is completely possible these types of changes are already in the works, but there's no way of knowing.
From a marketing standpoint, if gem prices were reduced and a monthly subscription was introduced, revenue becomes more streamlined and consistent instead of extreme spikes of gem purchases surrounding special chest events.
Please keep the ideas flowing - these are all gat ideas, and this shows GREE there are players willing to spend money for the right reasons.

I think more quests at this point is a necessity. And we need some benefit for leveling above 100.

If you buy the Gems on sale they are a dollar per Gem. 800 for 79.99. I never buy gems unless they are on sale and I'm sure most people are like minded.
300 = $30.
You are not going to start making people pay for a subscription unless they see value for it.
If this game is the top RPG in 10 - 15 nations that is a lot of people to pull from. So the business decision is how many people can we get paying money versus just playing it for free.
And then try and min/max that value. Is it 5 or 10 or more? It's not for us to decide that value. It's them.
I'm trying to reduce my spend output per month while throwing out a suggestion, that could benefit them and us.
Another change that I would love to see. Allow the armories to have a Que of 5 or 10. If I'm making basics I do not want to come back every 5 minutes.
I want to keep this as a casual game not a grinder like EQ.
Thanks!
