But as far as the chests go, you can tell their rates for getting anything useful has been significantly lowered, based on the 30% gem sale going on. Easy way to feed the gambler need, and easy way for Gree to profit incredibly.

The original chances of getting an epic or legendary would be multiplied by 2.

Very wrong, LOL. 2x just means you have twice the chance of winning legendary. So if the chance of legendary was 1% before, now you have 2% chance.

And I think I'm being generous when I say 1%, LOL.

I did 11 DPC once with gems from a lucky stream of videos 2 months ago. The only thing of note was a vinewood carapace. From the post above, vinewood is a common DPC reward.
Never doing DPC again unless the bonus reward is good, not even with lvl 60 boss free DPC keys or free gems.
A now obsolete legendary stone+wind is not worth it.
Gems now go to training fields.

Played 5 pvp battles and saw that 3 of them had that new epic and ofc i had to try for it.

Opened 16 x 300 gem chest and got 2 legendaries that are no use and not a single epic.

That was money well spent and this game will not see a single euro more of my money.

EDIT: Just checked how much money i spent on this game over the 2 months playing and it was allmost 900 euro and i haven't gotten single epic on chests where 95% of the gems have gone.

The only 2 worthwhile armors in DPC are black kale+ and aegis +, Bkale is becoming more obsolete with every new epic and I have a feeling that because they are giving away aegis+, it may be the end of its days as well, wouldn't be surprised to see an air earth epic soon.

Pump the brakes.

You've got your head on straight when you say save the gems for training fields. Absolutely do this first. Do not waste gems on anything else until you get your TF's maxed. Your armor leveling will thank you immensely. Say you do get an epic, you likely will run out of gold before maxing it, and other armors.

Also note: 2x chance means you now have somewhere between .02 and maybe 2% chance if you're lucky. And yes, they come around often. There will be another one in a few weeks.

every single person that buys any chest expecting something and gets crap then goes on to complain about it is a moron. any person that falls into the whole "2x%" or greater is a moron.

As i have stated before the chance of getting a specific epic is around 0.01% +/-(without 2x or greater chance) so you have about a 1% chance with the addition of latest epic to obtain any of the epics. And that 1% is with the 2x.

Stop expecting anything. Chests have always been a rip off, if you don't like it don't use your gems on them.

I'm torn between opening another chest or just waiting for beast chest. The only epic I need now is Moontide but its also the most "meh" epic. Any thoughts?

Ouch. 1200 Gems for Combustion, lol.

I guess I have lots of armors for upgrading future Epics. Assuming I ever get another one.

My GM opened 22 chests, he got a Maelstorm and a Tectonic. Seeing that happened, my guildmate spent 1200 gems to open 44 chests, all he got was crap. :(

I send an email to GREE to have a moan, as i got 50% of the same armour. So couldn't even use them in fusion combine to help guild out.

I saved my last 100 gems to see if i can get lucky on beast chest later today, fingers crossed.

3 shots 3 EPIC....
