We would like to share with all the readers one very important announcement that we made inside our guild, so that all can understand what has happened:
'To the sA family,
As you can see, we have removed a number of players from our guilds. While they are strong players and valuable in guild quests and battles, this was a very easy action to take. These players have been conspiring together to gain our confidence and trust with the goal to leave sA with the sA2 guild shell. Some planned to stay for one more war to gain more stats before bolting, all the while assuring all of us of their loyalty and devotion to our goals. This is not speculation or paranoia. We have screenshots of their private chats that state this plainly.
The officers regret that the merger with Golden Griffins did not work out. But we upheld the terms. They could have left after the first war with us with no hard feelings. Instead, they stayed, building their characters in a manner that they could not have achieved in their previous guild. Even more, all of us as guildmates made our best efforts to make those players feel welcome.
We certainly understand that not everyone fits our culture or may have different goals or circumstances, and never begrudge those who leave if they do so forthrightly and with integrity. But sneaking around behind the guild's back, ridiculously plotting some sort of "palace coup" that exists only in the minds of the conspirators, is absurd. This is a game. It's supposed to be fun.
If any of you wish confirmation of GoG's deceit, we can provide it. If any of you receive conflicting information from a GoG member, we can confirm beyond doubt the truth of everything in this announcement. If you are a former GoG member who wishes to know if Golden Lord asked sA to remove you from sA after the merger, we can provide that too.
Let's just move forward. Let GoG play out their pathetic little drama without our participation. Let's continue fighting, questing, raiding and, most of all, enjoying each other's company and conversation as the fun diversion from real life that it should be. As always, we are One in sA.'
