We all come from all walks of life. Today for myself, and many others we remember this day as the day the world stopped.. We take the time to remember the fallen, and celebrate the heroes that emerged through the dust, some giving there own life to save others. I will always remember this day, and I will never forget...
Like I have said we come form all over this world to play this game, so today may not mean to you what it means to some of us.. So thank you for allowing me to have this moment, as I would respect your own remembrance.....

Sad sad day for a lot of the people in this world. My thoughts go out to all the families of those who left us.

It's defiantly a day I will never forget, this is a day like what most of our grandparents went through when Pearl Harbor was attacked. I'm a retired Firefighter/Paramedic and was one of the first to volunteer in my department to go to help do whatever. We were put on standby but never made it there. I lost a few friends there that I had made through the fire department and they are greatly missed. I pray for all the families that lost loved ones during this tragedy.

great thread. never forget. always remember those we lost that day, and those who continue to lose their lives to protect and stand up against terrorists.

Here is a great short documentary about a life lost 12 years ago.

I'm French and I still remember where I was when I heard the news on the radio. What I consider my second country was badly hurt and I felt so sad.
Today, I do not forget, I do not forgive that the US government and Secret Services "created" Ben Laden and Al Qaida to fight the Soviets in Afghanistan.
May we all leave in Peace from now on.

for my response, plz dont verbally kill me anyone

9/11 is mainly remembered as of the attack location, america, the symbol of strength and power in the western world, it was shocking to think that this superpower could have been attacked and dealt a heavy blow on it own turf. Also for example the Boston Bombings, that same day as those 3 people died in Boston nearly 200 middle eastern men women and children where blown up by a suicide bomber on a bus in a busy street in (iran? i think), Boston made front page news worldwide, bus bombing got a 2 paragraph insight on the 4th or 5th page.

PS-no offence intended in any of the above, merely trying to prove a point.
