So true.. It just means you'll have to be extra careful with some of those stages and make sure you put your knights in a good order to take the damage in an efficient way.

Do nemesis armors have a plus and regular version? This is the first nemesis I have gotten and it is only going up 8 att and 7 defense per level which won't get it to the 981 892 specified in the game.

There was 30% increase comparing Corvus lvl14 to Troll King lvl14. But on lvl:s 5&15 the increase is only 15%. I'll need to keep an eye on the attack and hopefully we will get an updated Epic Boss Calculator for this boss.

Combination of luck and time management.
Luck in the sense that I had a couple of fusion boosts and older 4* armors I didn't mind sacrificing to level the Corvus armor. Time management in the sense that as soon as corvus + was unlocked, I dedicated all my spare armosmiths to crafting snakeskins and etc which I had been farming.

Based off of what happened around when the Blazeborne Vanguard came out (I got it with Notus + Phyrus), I would think that there's a strong possibility to get the Tectonic Mantle with those two armors. I would wait until after 9/18 to do this though, because of the event going on.

Based on some of your other questions and circumstances, I would guess that you are probably lower level than me. I am currently at level 78. Most players cannot get enough materials to make the + version until character levels 90+. It's often somewhere in that 90-110 character level range that people start getting to the 43rd kill. If you can't reach that mark, then leveling this armor is pointless. By the time you can reach that mark, you should have all your castle expansions and be at maximum gold/armor output levels.

Yes, it is possible. You could get it even from fusing a basic earth with another basic. Your chances are marginally better of getting it by using 4 * armors such as these. However, it most likely will give you junk. For us, we are probably better off getting enough materials to make the armor at the non+ but then not crafting it yet. 200k a pop can really hurt your progress at lower levels. The fusions will most likely give you junk. Even if it did give you the armor you want, leveling that armor will consume everything you have for far too long. Wait until you have all your castle expansions done and have your story armors to worry about crafting these for fusion materials. By that time, there will be even stronger armors out that you might get from the fusion.

That's still a lot for...what?

At that level, you don't want to invest that much to level it. It's a non+ with underwhelming stats for a 4 *.
If you do fuse it and get a bad result, you've thrown away a lot of gold when you really need to be building the story armors and your expansions.
If you do fuse it and get a good result, attempting to level a 4 or 5 * armor will be a huge drain at that level and with those resources.

Whereas if you save the mats until you have a solid foundation, they might do you a lot more good later. Once you have the story armors up, all your expansions done and can start shooting for + versions of the boss armor, THEN you can craft these and fuse them. At that point you will have the resources to actually level the armor without gimping your progress. Additionally, there might be much better armors available as possible fusion results by then as well.

1.) people complain about it giving low rarity armors
2.) there are no epic armor in there
3.) nemesis armor are only good for 1 week. after that you just use it for fusion or enhancement
4.) 30 gem chest come appear from time to time and it contains epic armors
5.) if you get 3 nemesis. you only get to use 2. since the nemesis armor is mono-spirit. you only get 2 knights to equip 2 mono-spirit armor. which is your main knight and the spirit knight

If you already have tect and blaze, and want to open chests, I would wait the week or two until this new 'beast chest' comes out. They're bound to have some kind of a deal chest soon because of this event, that won't have nemesis in it at all.

Simply max assassin shroud asap. If you are good on friends and have got almost a living flame you will do this.
Is an useful armor whit rare elements, the second best(after guardian battlegear+)

Assuming you have good friends, use the friend. Until the point you need 3 friends, EE will be your bottleneck, so commander + 1 friend is 1 EE cheaper than commander + 2 followers.
About Nemesis: it seems it's not a Nemesis+ yet, so the stats are rather mediocre. Having only 1 spirit armor is quite a gap in your armory. Maybe rushing a LF+ might be of some help or brute forcing it with an Epic armor if you have any...

Thanks for the solid advice. My Tectonic is at 55 and my Blaze is still being leveled to second evolve but both don't seem to do too well compared to friends with Nemesis. I started leveling a LF+ up, but I feel like I should be focusing more on my Blaze. I am still relatively new play-time wise, but have been very lucky with having good friends. I rode to 100 on their backs and ended up skipping a lot of the important things like the Big/Bigger four because the boss+ armors came so easily. Once I get my two epics where they should be I will probably pump out a few +'s of the earlier gear I missed. The epics are literally sucking me dry of gold, though.

Rush-maxing a LF+ to 50 takes 1540 EP, which would be about a 14 level EP delay on maxing the Tec and considerably gold-cheaper than those 14 Tec levels, so it might be worth it if its gets you a lot closer to 43.

(my "brute forcing" was meant as in maxed Epic with no element strength and no element weakness can probably keep up with a legendary+ with single element strength and no element weakness)

Agreed, nemesis friends made last week really easy at the higher levels (say, 35+). The other challenge this week is that this boss's attack number is higher than usual--e.g. at 33 his attack is 1539, where the last several have had 1339 at 33 I believe.

Solid air counter in arena I would keep it around unless you want to fuse for tec then do that even better counter for air.

Gree, unlike other weeks when they start whit regular nemesis and then reveal the plus one, started showing the plus stats but forgot to put it in chests... This is false advertising. Dont like it. Show the true stats on the banner.
By the way, reaching 43 whit clayplate, assassin shroud and living flame.

I have found all nemesis armor completely useless. Once you get a few decent/good armors maxed out with various elements you can pretty much save your money and not buy DPC'S anymore. I sure a f**k don't buy em, save your gems for special chests that at least wont give 1 * garbage and a chance for epics. Well, that's what I do anyway.

LOL, few higher level players are getting the Troll Nemesis because it's very mediocre compared to other armors, yet for lower level players it's apparently a good armor this time I guess...

It's never a must IMO, it just helps you if you are low level with weak regular armor. It's something they put in to entice new players into spending gems to open chests in the hopes of some fast-track advantage to tougher armors, but it won't get you from 15 to 43 any better than a regular maxed Legendary+ armor, even less from 43 to 60.

I have never used nemesis armor and very rarely have my friends had it, and I have no trouble getting to 43 when I want to.

I see what you're saying, but the way I view it I don't think Nemesis is ever worth it. If you can't kill the boss because you don't have a good enough range of armors, you're wasting materials with a nemesis. Those resources, time, and gold, should be going towards expanding your armor repoitre, so you can stand a better chance against ALL bosses, not just the one the nemesis works with. If the issue is nemesis on a high level player who is a friend, then I guarentee you get more damage overall with that player's other high level armors.

I don't think Nemesis is worth it either, not with the changes to make them lvl 50; just a waste of EP, gold and time that could be far better spent furthering your account so that you can take the next boss on your own.

Hmm, so Nemesis friends aren't capped by the player's stats like normal friends are?
LOL, few higher level players are getting the Troll Nemesis because it's very mediocre compared to other armors, yet for lower level players it's apparently a good armor this time I guess...

I assume what's happening is that nemesis *stats* cap based on your own just like other armors do, but 3x multiplier then kicks in unmodified from there. That would make even a mediocre nemesis pretty competitive against much better armors for someone whose own stats are weak.

Nemesis is a total waste. 1600 ep on an armor you will use for less than a week.
A maxed legendary plus is still better than it.

Based on the discussion held here, I'm guessing the point where Moontide will be better than Nemesis for this boss is somewhere in the player level 50-70 range.
I did beat boss level 43 rather comfortably with LF+/DP+/Assasin+/Moon friend/Moon friend.
Using non-plus Nemesis on friends probably isn't worth it past about boss level 15-25 for level 100+ players.

That would be odd, since for ex. Moontide would still have the 1.5x multiplier, but according to Erixas, Nemesis did 3-4x the damage that Moontide did.

Unfortunately I don't have any Nemesis friends on my level 41 alt to test it with...

The main problem with nemesis on this boss is that he hits so hard he can one shot Nemesis.

I typically use my friends with nemesis if the boss has a little health left and I had to wait the hour and a half. This way I could use my main knight to build up the attack bar, then when the nemesis friend is up, use the special attack to finish the boss off for sure.

If you use the nemesis armor to attack when the boss has a bunch of health, its like he said, they get destroyed too quickly to make a ton of damage.

Sweet! Made it to 43! Corvus at lvl 32 and troll at lvl 18. Whats the fastest way to get them to 35? I have 2.4m in the bank and 7 fusion stones that i got from the chests, should i use the 50 ep on troll or corvus?

can anyone verify the nemisis+ stats? I havent seen anyone with it, only with the non plus so much that the topleader boards are full of people whos stats top out at max with 1.1k atk and 1k def with nem, which with 900atk, it should be closer to 1.3-1.5

There was 30% increase comparing Corvus lvl14 to Troll King lvl14. But on lvl:s 5&15 the increase is only 15%. I'll need to keep an eye on the attack and hopefully we will get an updated Epic Boss Calculator for this boss.

I didn't even notice until level 43, but Troll King was 15% higher on attack (1956 vs 1701) at that level. Defense remained standard at 606. The Ancient dragons got tougher on defense but their attacks remained the same throughout.

I rather like a little variation, it gets boring having every epic boss with the same stats. It may just be for 'linked' bosses, i.e. those that comprise an event, but it's more fun, as long as the differences are not damaging to game balance.
