I just want to offer Kudos to the programmers for changing the Epic Boss energy timer to count down in hours:minutes:seconds instead of just minutes:seconds. It makes it much easier to track how long you have before you get enough energy to attack (since energy refills at the rate of 1 per 30 minutes).
BRAVO!

Hey, what can I say, they did something right that enhances my game playing experience. I felt they deserved a little positive recognition, since they rarely get any on these forums.
You, Sir, have impressed me a number of times with insightful commentary on any number of threads. This time not so much. You have succeeded in putting down both the programmers and me in two short sentences. Net value added to the thread -2. Unkudos to you, Sir.

I didn't know you can unkudos. Is that like no tag backs? I jest. I jest.
You know, to each their own. I actually like the change myself as well, but I don't feel it deserves a grandiose kudos post. I would much rather see friend list lag fixed, or the random crashes and overall lag fixed than a timer.

buster, as you say, to each their own. While I would like all of the issues that you mentioned, and a number of others, fixed, I also feel that sometimes the members of these forums are entirely too negative. People rarely, if ever, mention it when the programmers get something right. Maybe if people were a little more forthcoming with praise when they notice things that work well after an update, the programmers would be a little more motivated. Just sayin'. And yes, I know I sound like Pollyanna.
Besides, I can't help but wonder if some of the issues programmers are being blamed for aren't in fact due to infrastructure decisions made by management and have little to do with the programming itself. I would suspect many of the problems with Guild Wars could be attributed to not having robust enough servers. I would also suspect that at least some of the lag issues could be attributed to the same. Those are areas the programmers have no control over. Again, just sayin'.
