Hello

Before you say anything i just need to admit/point out that i take this game way too seriously and love it.

Heres my idea:
1. New additional currency "Silver Coins".
2. All bosses drop them along with their regular loot.
3. The ammount dropped is relational to the level/dificulty of the boss
4. Add a few more spaces to your castle so you can buy and build a market
5. The market sells crafting mats for silver coins.
6. The market will buy mats off you and pay you in silver coins. Then you can get rid of unwanted mats and buy the ones you want.

If you make the silver coins purchasable with real money then Gree can make money and pay for the devolpment of this improvement.

For me this would allow me to farm where i enjoy farming rather than in skelly tombs all the time.

Thanks for your time

Good idea. Make the materials worth their real prices, in a relation between enchanchement points/time crafting/crafting cost, and make bosses drop a balanced amount of currency based on difficulty. Is not normal receiving three stone slabs by defeating a gorgon war mistress on the dark prince normal stage, while i can go defeating the serpent thats three inches away from my castle walls. Not going to like a multiplayer market, where everyone could sell what their want at what price they want, and would totally hate anything related to epic boss mats.

What about a way to send my knights to "quests","adventures","whatevernameyowanttoputhere" for a medium long amount of time, like sending a pack of three knight to raid the misty marsh loosing 1~5hp minute based on some sort of funny mechanic, and coming back whit a bit of roots, some scales and bags of shards? Maybe some xp, a way to speed up the process whit the green shining things, a resting time before you can do this again, and obliviously the knight unlivable for standard map adventures, or the zone where the knights are pillaging locked and unlivable for farming.
Maybe a bonus by sending your main or by bringing whit them some potions or other elaborated things... Like the idea?

This idea would also add divercity to the kinds of prizes that could be given out during Guild Wars, Arena Tournaments, Leaderboard and Quests.

Let me start with saying that I like the ideas because they are basically catering to a player who isn't too keen on investing money for gems. That may also be the reason why the suggestions aren't taken up.

If they were implemented, they would be effectively creating an alternate source of higher quality crafting mats without using gems. (Reasoning that currently mats can be 'purchased' from the summoning stone at 30 gems for 2 mats of your choice) If you look at how the game currently works with bosses randomly dropping fusion stones and keys, the game already includes an element of random extra loot to each boss battle. I love the idea, but I don't imagine Gree going through all that extra effort to effectively make the summoning stone process gem free which would hurt their revenue.

Sakino's idea also has merit, but again you are asking for a game mechanic that would reward you for not being in the game. The games where I have seen this mechnic implemented usually provide you with rewards that are on the cheaper side (in this case gold or basic armor mats) so as to soften the blow of work downtimes. Not provide you with a effortless way to farm mid-high grade crafting mats.

Apologies if this post sounds like poking holes.

+1 for the idea. It would make my gaming experience better, for sure. On the other hand, I'm going to have to (sadly) agree with Wolfgang. Seems unlikely.

We have had a potions shop idea, and now a materials marketplace. I love both of them. Gree, bring on the upgrades!

i think gree should really focus more on fixing the guild wars system before making them do anything that would increase the chances of breaking the game. i like the idea though

Put #5 "The market sells crafting mats for silver coins" and the final statement of "silver coins purchasable with real money" together and you just added the "buy your armor that you want with real money" option to the game. Why bother with silver coins? Just use gems and save the extra resource drain. It will end up being the same in the long run.

honestly how many people are using gems for mats at the summoning stone? I +1 this idea, Silver coins being purchasable, would create more income then summoning stones I can see people purchasing silver coins much easier than summoning stones, because of its appeal, And like originally stated we could farm where we wanted without being stuck on one specific level, I love training at infernal, but personally hate farming at skeles tomb.

My point was that if you look at what Cinder is suggesting, another way of looking at what Cinder is asking for is 'to make mats purchasable through grinding'. Gree already has a function for mat purchasing in the game. You have gems that can be used to buy whichever higher level mats you would like. At the rate of 30 gems for 2 pieces. Thats approx 3USD per mat going by the ingame gem rates. They could introduce a system of exchanging of mats for Gems, but that creates another problem, which is balancing the current dollar to mat ratio (6USD=30 gems=2 mats or 3USD=1mat) to a new mat to gem ratio.

I see your point Wolfgangs246. I wouldnt imagine that past or current epic boss mats be available for trade with silver coins (maybe only to sell them to the market) I was more thinking of a way to:
1. Grind/Farm where ever i want rather than in tombs all the time
2. Make use of the mats that i will never use to craft armor with.

I dont know if you agree or not but $3 per mat is way to expencive. For past boss armor though the summoning stone is very nice to have.

The point of being able to "buy" your armor NEEDS to be expensive. Otherwise, everyone and their brother gets whatever armor they want, because if you have the ability to "sell" mats back, you could just farm farm farm, sell your mats, and bam: free armor. I would imagine the prices would be in the range of ludicrous-insane.

I agree that you shouldn't feel constrained to farm just 1 boss for the mats that you like. On that point, you should be able to tell that Gree is constantly rotating the elements of the new epics bosses and no matter what area you like to farm, at some point it's going to be the flavor of the week. So why not just keep farming your favorite areas and just use those elements as the epic armors come up? as someone else mentioned before. EP is EP, it just means you need a little more gold to level. :)

Another idea for unused mats might be to allow you to level Guild Guardians by 'feeding' them the mats. value and stat improvements to be determined, but that might introduce an interesting new element to the game as you are stifling your personal armor development at the expense of building a better guardian for your entire guild.

(a guardian which currently gets one-shotted during actual guild wars apparently. Feel me bro?)

I would love to see EP gained for armors while adventuring or battling so avoid having to farm snakeskins.
