If your talking skill points I would say yes. I would put more into defense than attack. If they truly have a meaning defense is important as you cannot chose who attacks you.

I disagree. The stats of your items and units determine your attack and defense. At lower levels, points in attack may help with boss fights but negligible at higher levels. I would stick to hero strength with whatever stamina your aiming for.

Dalton, pro is right.. Putting defense points on DEF is extremely important especially during wars.. I have my def up to 150 now and most of the time when I get hit I win.. But let a senior give you the exact advice but I'm sure me and pro are on the right track.

somewhere before there was a theory that amounted to about this:

every 1 attack skill point equated to 100 point increase in attack
every 1 defense skill point equated to 1000 point increase in defense.

don't know if it is true, but it plays out most of the time.

I added 3 attack skill points during India. I reckon my stats went up from 340 k to 341 k. (give or take)

I've been playing this game for 18 months. At the beginning I mostly invested skill points in attack and defense. I have 170 in attack and 180 in defense.
Those ridiculous losses to someone with a defense 120k lower than my attack keep happening. You might say: Oh,maybe this other guy's got 300 or 400 in defense... Ok. But this time (fighting in India) 2 people in my faction beat a guy more than 20-30 times with no losses. Their attacks were lower than mine, and I was the only one to lose to this guy twice. Their skill points in attack were 95 and 60.
So I ask you now:
do you think it is worth it?

I have seen no change in my stats when adding points to ad/aa
