Faction goals for winning: What happens if there is a loss?

I thought both goals were for consecutive wins (Bay Experiment still says Win 3 Wars in a row)

Question 1: Are both for consecutive wins or is the Battle for the Bay for all wins regardless of any losses in between?

Question 2: For Bat Experiment, (and Battle for the bay if that is also consecutive), what happens if there is a loss for battle 4 and wins for 1-3? Does it:

A. Reset and we get reward for the next two wins in a row, then 3rd etc?

B. Or nothing more for goals we are done after one loss?

Battle for the Bay is just wins in general. Doesn't have to be consecutive.

For Bay Experiment, the way I understand it is there are nine objective and you can lose in between them.

For instance, you win 2 in a row and get the first prize (1/9), then you can lose one (or more) and then win 3 consecutive wars and get the second prize (2/9). In order to win the final prize you have to complete all nine goals, but you can lose some in between.
