Thankssave the non plus for fusing cloudrange in the near future. Leviathan+corvus= nearly sure cloudrange, but for now its not fuseable.

Giving that redemption period, it should be the current epic boss + the next epic boss. The next epic boss will likely be Earth mono or Earth+something.

Since the reward is key to some October chests, it wouldn't be hard to guess Beast Brawl II may happen in mid-September to reward more keys to the chests.

Okie Dokie ill keep them all, I dont know if im reading into your comment too much but it sounds like Cloudrange isnt fusable yet as you said "Really no point in getting rid of anything until you get your rewards". I think it would be a great idea to get rid of the non + version if it means i could have Cloudrange.

My current guess is that this is air mono, the next epic boss will be a earth mono, and the chests coming in october will hold a new epic armor, with my current guess going towards an air/earth epic, since we have yet to get the earth element in the epic armors yet.

I wonder if the rewards will be worth the effort - seldom use monos unless they have epic stats like vanguard. Having to waste ep to get reg to 35 to craft plus version for 2 armors+ I prolly wouldn't be using.

All these for:
1) a cape - screw this cape, spectacular ftw
2) 4 epic keys prolly - cost 120 gems in total which will prolly give most people heartache.

I'm just speculating at this pt - will prolly just go ahead and fulfill the event requirements and hope that the keys turn out more useful than not.

Don't cause any confusion this time by releasing a chest sale with the boss armors in them because the banner says 'CRAFT'. Just a word of advice.

Please don't delay it by 2 weeks this time. People got armor slots in inventory to use on upcoming armors, not to store them and have rewards delayed.

I'm happy with this event, I dont mind upgrading this armor to 35 to build the plus since i do it anyhow before i fuse legendary boss armors...so really no different than my usual except itll be fast tracked to the front burner. until I see whats in the chests there's no reason to complain for me. Would be cool to get a good epic armor... Although it does say LEGENDARY rewards.

This game at least keeps things interesting...I've played many others prior that stagnated and hardly ever improved or changed. I feel spoiled with this. As do my close circle of mates that I brought over to this game :D

I think that is the key, and it probably won't be Legendary+ rewards.

It's going to be a bugger to level this armor as snakeskins will only give 20ep. I'm saving my upgrading material for my BK+. With the (quite appropriate) drop in Guild Leader bonuses, those BK+s in the arena are more useful again, and I'm getting shafted by many that I come across, or at least enough to mess up a bunch of double-downs.

I need clarification on the specifics. Per that ad, keeping non plus (2 armors) will give me 1 key and keeping plus (2 armors) will give me 3 keys + robe.
If I keep both plus and non plus versions (4 armors) in inventory, do I get 4 keys + robe ?

Remember Gree has a large silent player base that spends money. Remember that as you started, you got keys and quests explaining to use those keys and TA DA, prizes!! There hasn't been anything quite that hand holdy for Limited Edition chests, especially not a "free" first try. A big part of driving user behavior in these games is giving things for free and then gradually introducing cost. The lower tier chests in theory do that, but aren't LE, and they may be seeing a breakdown in conversion rates. So! Super exciting! "Compete" in an event to get a prize of a prize! Boom, behavior queued. That's ACTUALLY what's going on here, for most of the players.

And if that doesn't impact you and RR one whit, I don't think that'll radically change GREEs bottom line or their view of if as a successful pilot. I'd wager a third of the top 100 guilds in the last two wars won't see significant behavior / conversion modification. But we are the proverbial tip of the iceberg.

As for other people prattling about the event, is anyone seriously going to not kill/craft some 4 stars just to AVOID the event? Low barrier to entry means we are all playing anyway. Who turns down a free coffee?

I will not be happy whit a spirit boss. I will get stuck whit living flame and hipydra hunter. I have not got any good fire armors, ecept infernal lord, who has earth.. Ah hello you must be new here. Gear gets upstaged. All. The. Time. It's the nature of the game. Earn a limited window of dominance with your new gear then become obsolete. Not like most people are going to be running around in anything new anyway. I'd say a third of the high level active friends have that BKAL that was supposed to flood and ruin the game a few weeks ago...

AFAIK Solo was refering to giving an armor as prize, then the very next armor released being a direct counter to the prize armor a kick in the teeth.
Normal gear obsolescence would be stats creep, making older armors weak compared to newer armors.

Well said.. We all have to realize that these pay to play games are designed specifically around taking advantage of the human mentality. Milking us for every dollar they can get. Hoping they get a few thousand gambling addicts along the way. The more 'fodder' an addict pulls out of the chest, the more he wants to keep chasing the better gear. I know all too well.

My point was simple.
countering the tectonic mantle whit a spirit boss is not a smart move against peoples who spent tons and tons of $€$ in the game. They may doubt next time. Guess the next boss being fire earth? Or almost anything unrelated to spirit.

I prefer that counters to new epics came out sooner rather than later. No armor should be nearly invincible in the Arena for any long stretch of time. Makes you think about what armors to use.

If this is true it will be kinda funny since the bosses name is Troll King and historicly Trolls in RPG are weak against fire. If it is Mono Spirit that is.

Would be awesome if the Troll King was Earth/Fire. After you get the rewards you could fuse it with Featherblade and have chances for Blazeborne, Tectonic, Combustion... etc. etc. God, I really would love to have Combustion Armor because it looks so badass ;-;

Well This boss is ending in an hour or two and the next one will be available. Also about the rewards... It says collect LEGENDARY. There is nothing that ever says anything about Epic armors. It most likely will be a copy of the princes chest plus a few variables, like a chance to get the boss armor... again! I wouldn't get my hopes up over nothing. I'll just have a semi-cool looking cape at the end of this.

I asked the question about keeping both armors a few minutes after this announcement was made and The Wise One clarified by changing the original post.

The reward redemption is Sep 11 - Sep 18 so i would say that you can craft them anytime in and before that date range. If you needed them already crafted then i would think the reward redemption period would say "Craft by/before Sep 11". Im guessing this will the same as the Bkal+ event where you tick off the required armors as you go.

To wrap up

1. Craft BOTH normal AND plus versions of each boss (Corvus and Troll King)
2. Keep ALL 4 armors in your inventory untill you get your rewards (18th Sep at the latest)
3. Enjoy your wings and keyss

But in making that request for an answer, you had to know the responses would come... IN WRITING. Unless you're a DISH subscriber and have ESPn, you'd have to then READ the responses. Which had ALREADY been provided. In other words, you were quite selfish there demanding a doubling down on effort from other people which in no way reduced what you were going to have to do anyway.

The oldest combinations are mono spirit, earth/wind, fire water and mono fire. But i think we got enought whit monos, and air/earth are matching whit corvus and troll king, i think is more probable water/fire. Another jian like boss will be challenging. Make it whit deva attack and jian defence!(okey, maybe a bit lower defence, but not so much.)

The boss obliviously flee on the 11, but, in my opinion, you will have a dragon reward like poput to get your free keys and cape, avaiblefrom day 11 at 7 p.m. Untill day 18 at 7 p.m., if they are going to make it like dragon reward. Possible that they will delay, maybe whit a summoning stone sale. Nerge dump a way to milk more money, i would do the same thing if i was in gree high chair. Good luck everyone, i personally have trollking+ already in baking.

Corvus, as i said time ago, have got a high defence, the only use i can barely see is against cloudrange or moontide, but arena is flooded whit phyrus, infernals, some tempered battlegears, new tectonics, aegis of the dragons, assassin shrouds, guardians.... Lots of earth armors, and very few water ones.
About troll scrap metals, they have a ridicolous defence. The only good use i can get from those armors is fusion fodder, a cape and some keys. Who said the keys are only four?

I think the little notification bar they made for dragon rewards will just be revamped for this. As soon as the boss flees it will pop up, and anyone can claim their prize from that point forward. The bar will be there for a week, so that as soon as you finish crafting within that week you can claim your keys and cape.

My boss armor started baking with enough time that it will finish 2 minutes before the boss leaves. The soonest I've ever started a boss+. But as for boss armors, I agree with you. No real reason to level either of these two. I really want to level up Corvus because of the defense, but there isn't any justification. And for the earth? What if I fuse into Tectonic using the non+ Trollking? It would be wasted leveling.

I think I'll just be making snakeskins until my armory is too full, and use them all at once on whatever I need to when the next boss hits.

I'm not exactly sure how much more improvements there needs to be for mono epic boss armors if you think that these stats aren't good enough to be honest. The recent monos already have combined stats much higher than the usual dual epic boss armors, roughly 10%ish. This basically gives them stats that are on par with the dual element armors with bonuses, isn't that good enough? Now you have powerful legendary monos that could be used in the place of dual element armors in the arena and epic boss, where in the arena opponents would have a smaller chance of having armors effective against you, while you also have a smaller chance of having armors effective against them.

It's very unlikely that a Beast Brawl II would require these armors. They might still do a beast themed fire mono and spirit mono. A Beast Brawl II would likely only require those armors and not these.

You got it. What is the point of levelling a 1500/900 armor while, by fusing, you get at first shot tectonic or cloud kimg. If you fail, why dont fuse troll+ whit cloud king and get a sure tectonic. My guild friend dont want to level armors to 35 and just fused tectonic from corvus and troll.

I just did it this morning. Took my 35 non+ corvus and troll and got a 35 tectonic. No reason to level troll if you have a mono wind.

No. its not sure that you will get a tectonic. you can get cloud king or tectonic but both at level 35. if you want the keys i suggest you wait 2 days. if not then go ahead fuse it.

No one is really hating on Corvus. We're just doubting it's effectiveness in the current meta. Water is never around in the arena these days. I rarely see Cloudrange Platemail at all. And I know they're out there. The meta will change. Probably when they ramp the difficulty up and there's a new Jian. Then it will be very useful.

BK+ won't one-shot any modern epic boss armor I believe. Provided it's maxed of course. I don't find the state of the meta-game in the lower ranks of the arena too important because everything is so transitory and less competitive down there. Different people are always there and the armors are much, much worse in general. You can get by with the Big 4(or you used to, not sure about now). In the higher ranks, you see the same people every tournament. Most people have at least one maxed epic, many of them are clouds because that's where the top 10 guild members reside.

I shamed the most trollforge, calling it useless. I said only that corvus is on a slighty disadvantage cause in arena the half of the armors are earth based ones. Tectonics are popping like mushrooms, aegis of the dragon are still there, assassin shrouds some here and here and armies of the tempered or guardian battlegear. An air mono is only slighty efficient against cloudrange (that still have 25% total stats higher than corvus, obliterating the bonus) and moontides, same as first. If you want to be a competitive air knight, the best choiche for now is aegis or combustion, cause ecept the two above(that are still rares than blazes or other armors) there is pratically no water armor.

While yes, recent monos do seem to be slightly stronger base stats, eventually guild bonuses on second elemnt will surpass them right? Or if theyre buffing monos to match duals, then the situation is reversed because people would have to spend a lot on guild bonuses elements to match... Wichever is the case i dont think this is the best solution, i will however max out this new epic boss plus armor and see the stats

I can't confirm or deny. I can only state that another poster claimed he fused his normals and now cannot unlock that reward tier to get his + rewards. I have nothing to say if both are telling the truth or not. I just know I've seen claims at both ends of the spectrum, so...I don't know.

I got all 4 keys and cape. I fused my feather and troll the day before the trade in went up. Mine registered fine with only the + versions in my inventory. I think I should note, for what it matters, that I didn't fuse my regulars until after both my pluses were completed. I don't know if that's relevant.
