Fusion stones - how and where do you farm them ?

I post this out of frustration.Playing with 2 devices. Iphone char Guinness is on lvl 150, ipad Kilkenny on lvl 108.Both chars farm snakeskins (epic stage). Guinness gets 3 -4 fusion stones per hour. Kilkenny none. Why that? Anyone any experience with this? thx

You can do nothing except keep farming...on some days you get lucky on some days you dont.

It is suggested that epic stage gives better rewards than normal stage, but I still feel that this claim is not supported sufficiently. Perhaps you're just unlucky. Me, I do normal stage, which gives me more runs, which increases the chance of getting fusion stones.

Whether the increased number of runs from normal stage outweighs the supposed better rewards from epic stage is unknown.

This. Much like expecting good, usable armors from DPC and epics from too random fusing; don't do it. Gonna be disappointed. It's just a matter of reasonable expectations.
