I always thought it was a display glitch because my screen when I take down a wall looks like this:

whereas the iOS screenshots I've seen have looked the same, but with the cash icon instead of the "IP" fist icon.

Your wall damage and IP payout from wall hits depends on your attacks, but it is capped obviously. I could probably guess your attack if I knew your hideout damage modifier.
