View Full Version : Idea for the Friend list

So i am slightly getting bored checking every profile to see if they are still active and playing. Wouldn't it be a good idea to add a 'Last Time Active' next to the names so you can easily clean your friend list?
Also make it possible to sort your friend list when hiring friends. For example: an epic boss is air/water, make it possible to filter so friends with air/earth armors come first.
Let me know what you guys think,

Would be nice to filter friends by type, stats, etc.

It should filter based on the armor they are wearing at the time, the same armor you would see if you were to use them in a battle. Because friends wear different armors for different parts of the game (arena, boss, adventure), the filtering would likely need to happen after the "hire friend" page.

Can be a great improvement
Some more suggestion:
- see the level and armor of player requesting frienship without enter their profile: just see they like my old friends
- disable one of the two delete friend confirm popup: Delete -> are you sure -> Yes and stop, dont' say anymore "fiends delete": it takes a lot of time

Some changes to the friend list would be awesome. Also would be great if the friend list didn't lag so bad.

Yeah the lag is annoying too. Always seeing my friend list freeze while looking through it. Plz GREE, improve the friend list :3

I am starting to wonder if the friends list problem might be linked to devices. I was going to start a thread to see if there is a pattern but alas I can't due to the lack of posts.
Galaxy S3 here and anything over 50 friends I get lots of Lag.

One fix could be to add an activity symbol to the lower left of the player pics in the friend's list (below the guild symbol). A yellow circle for inactive players over 7 days, a red circle if inactive over 14 days, and either nothing or a green circle for active players.
Anyone know if accounts get deleted after some period of inactivity?

+1 for both ideas.
I would really like to be able to easily see who is active in my guild and who not... aside from the grind of profile searching. Filtering friends via element / level would also be a nice improvement.
Well thought!

Tracking activity would be a non-trivial implementation and potential scalability issue, Gree has enough of those.
Basically I recognize most of the folks from my guild, if someone random isn't from that, and doesn't appear to be moving level wise, I simply nuke and go on with life. Friends in this game are rather fickle anyway to say the least given how little social interaction is involved.
As for the filter, that's a handy idea although I don't have much use for it now (as friends are just epic boss whacking, though a filter on stats as an example might help that), and it could be done entirely on the client side so it actually has a shot of being feasible without being fraught with issues. Smart thinking OP, good suggestion.

Thanks Rev :) glad so many of you support my ideas, only thing left now is for Wise One to pass on the ideas to the programmers :)

This is such a great idea, I'm surprised GREE hasn't already implemented it in the first place though...

It's a great idea, yet I am not surprised.

If we can keep the post on top till thursday when wise one comes on, chance is big theyll look at it, lets just hope they'll do the effort to actually implement it as it would greatly improve the friend list and it doesnt touch their income :p
