I get that heaps of people post their problems to Gree with a ticket...So they would have a fair bit to go through.
But i think they are far too slow at responding and sorting out these problems.
Just frustrated at how long they have taken, especially since i've spent a fair amount of cash on this game.
How long does it take most people to get a reply and things sorted?

I came in here expecting a thread full of funny Gree responses and was disappointed :(.
On-topic, they usually answer tickets within a few days. Might be a bit longer due to all of the GW problems right now.

Imagine having to respond to over 1000+ (you know, rough estimate, probably on the WAY LOW side) tickets about things not working. How fast do you think you could respond to all of them?

I highly doubt there is ONE person doing all the work.....
And i'm sure they make a pretty decent profit, which could be used to expand their company, more workers, more games, more money their way in the long run.

More money doesn't always mean more workers, or more games. Many businesses aren't in it for "the long run" unlike many think. Some want to build it, grow it, and sell out and retire on a big fat nest egg. But I digress.
They also have multiple games in multiple countries, with multiple languages to deal with. I'm sure K&D wasn't the only game that have tickets come in over the weekend, from minor bugs and glitches to our cluster of a war. So yeah, I'd still give them the benefit of the doubt for not responding to each and every single person just yet. Patience.
Also, you aren't the only one who has spent "a fair amount of cash" on the game. So... get in line.

I never said I was the only person who has spent a fair amount of cash. I've been in line for close to a week, if not more.
Also, most of the tickets that would be going through now would be about Guild Wars and the likes, which EVERYBODY is having problems with....so that will all get sorted at once, and a waste of time to read most of those tickets (not that they would know that's what they are writing about, but when they see that it is, just put it aside).
They have replied to me, and asked for details of my account, and I have replied to that, but alas, I didn't even get an explanation as to what went wrong or why.
I'm just venting :)

I send a ticket on the 11th august, I got a reply on the 13th. I send another one on the 17th of august and I got another reply on the 19th of august. There were about 17000 other tickets in between my two, so they get quite a lot of tickets.
I send two tickets, because my issues are not resolved yet. I have error code 15 and 417. My knight is level 83 but it shows up as 18 in people's friend lists, guilds and on the epic boss list. In the arena and on my profile it shows as 83. After the reply on the first ticket error code 15 had stayed away for almost a week, than I got it again and the rest isn't fixed either. The reply on the 2nd ticket was a question, they'll probably send me another answer on the 21st or 22nd.
I'm really considering re-installing the game, but I'm afraid I'll have to start from scratch. I removed the game and re-installed it about 2 months ago and I had to restart from scratch and no issue was fixed. I'm playing on a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1, is there any way to re-install the game and not having to start from scratch?

That's odd....I can delete the app and download it again, and when it opens....nothing is lost :/
My problem is pretty confusing, but I wrote explaining as best I could to them (dot points) haha

Well, that's a phone. I don't know if it matters though... I've decided to do a test, I'm installing modern war from gree. I'll level a bit, delete it and then re-install it.

It worked, I'm still level 3! Very promising, there's no reason why it shouldn't work with knights and dragons this time... I shall try.

That's not looking very promising... Removed, re-installed and It's updating right now and I can see in the background 'Complete the tutorial to recieve 5 gems and 500 gold...
