I'm stopping after Part 1. The stats gain to xp gain on Part 2 is about as low as Elite Mode on the last LTQ, and I'd think that Part 3 would be even lower.

Yes, Reaper has been doing that for our syndicate for a while now. It's extremely impressive and useful, you can quickly calculate how far you can go without gold and then estimate your gold options after that.

I'm reserving judgment until I see how much energy/xp Part 3 costs. It can't be worse than last LTQ (Hit and Run) though, which cost 167k energy for the Elite mode alone (that's pretty much like two Elite modes anyway).

I will say though that I don't like the idea of having an unspecified number of LTQ 'parts'-- if I wasn't screenshotting the goals, I would have totally missed the reward screen mentioning "A great start to our three part plan to get the money rolling in!" No one ever reads those goal screens.

The only other argument against not subdividing the Elite mode further is that it is nice having a steady progression of energy increases per level-- e.g. if Elite 13/30 costs 1000 energy, I know Elite 14 will be even more (e.g. 1100-1200 energy, etc), whereas there is no way to tell during Part 2 of the LTQ how much energy Part 3 will cost (or even how many parts there will be). I'd rather have energy costs proceed like 700, 800, 900, 1000, 2000 instead of 350, 1150, 600, 900, 1000, 1400. Etc.

Maybe we should be looking at Parts 1 & 2 combined as a Normal Mode (25 levels) and Part 3 as an Elite Mode (30 levels)?

It's getting expensive, even though I still have maps prehit, I'm going to run out soon and it's going to be monstrous. I see SOGO already posted something about this, but here is an interesting way to look at the "XP Return". Obviously, like most LTQs, it's not very camper friendly. Note that these ratios are the running XP total returns for the running A/D of the rewards.

These events, LTQs in general, are always camper friendly for the first X levels. My personal preference is ~> 3:1 stat to XP so for this one I'd stop at L4. The LTQ before this one I recall you could get all the way to around L15 before the ratio deteriorated (beyond my personal threshold at least)

P.S. Tell No Tales and Usual Suspects should be disregarded from the comparisons, as I recall these 2 were the ones where GREE tried to experiment with gradual rewards from Normal through Elite (i.e. grand prize for Normal was only a mid-stat item, and stats of prizes increased further starting from Elite Level 1).

It's about 30-40k stat increase with whichever modifiers/bonuses you have. Maybe more.

You know, that is really suspicious, considering it is double the energy cost. I am going to run through my totals again and make sure my totals for XP are correct-- it is possible I made a mistake in the spreadsheet such that it didn't sum correctly, etc.

Edit - you're right, I copied the wrong XP total for #25-30. I will fix this shortly.

doesn't matter how long your energy bar is, everyone regen at the same speed, the only difference is gold or modifierwhen you start the LTQ it does matter, if you start with a million energy, you can finish the LTQ quick. If you start with 200 energy, it's harder to finish the lTq

Obviously, it depends on a few things:

1. Energy bar length
2. Level-ups
3. Prepping
4. Gold

The more, the better.

exactly my point. i generate 3 energy in 54sec. it takes 9 hrs for the whole bar to 1800. so far all LTQ i did i got to about 70% no gold used. i'd like to see the bar fully refilled instead of seeing it added 1000 energy when it's empty, when using gold...

exactly my point. i generate 3 energy in 54sec. it takes 9 hrs for the whole bar to 1800. so far all LTQ i did i got to about 70% no gold used. i'd like to see the bar fully refilled instead of seeing it added 1000 energy when it's empty, when using gold...

Deff appreciate the heads up big money but I cant believe that any one is actually doin this the xp gained is unbelievable and the amount of gold needed to finish isnt even worth talking about another terrible ltq but I havent seen one ltq that was worth doin yet.

I caught another mistake of mine for part 3. I had the name of the job correct (Herschel Miller) but I had accidentally copied the XP total for Esther Jewishname instead. This only affected the XP total by a few hundred, so hopefully it didn't cause anyone any distress.
