I have been looking through maps and assuming your a high level player and have access to all the maps, I'm curious as to what MOBs give the best drops. So far as i can tell on the map Giants Ally the Troll has been giving the best armor and weapon drops for me, such as the inferno robe and others. As you have been playing which MOB do you think gives the best drops?

As far as I found out, it's the best map, the Troll gives almost 100 drop rate with best armor.
Before this quest there was in Shipwreck cove , the craken ( red round monster ) by killing this monster you got 16~17K gold.
Now with the quests going on, I didn't see that monster anymore..

The Kraken's Eye is a "rare" spawn. Therefore, once you kill it, it may take quite a few kills of other mobs on that map for him to spawn. I can usually spawn him again after killing about 10 or so of the other mobs on the map.

Crag Wyvern on The Barrens gives best armour and drop rate is 100%. Very rare spawn rate and it is invisible as with all Wyvern's as the image is bugged.

Kraken's Eye drops nothing except gold. Can't tell you what the wyvern drops, try it you will see.

the troll in Gialnts Alley drops the Inferno Robe almost 75% of the time and is imo the best armor drop in the game plus for me it also drops 4k gold every time, but ill try out the kraken and see.. i wish more would comment on this subject as i feel this is a pretty important topic for the game, specially for higher level players

Maybe you need to kill another monster before the troll shows up, normally he is there...( Foerym Troll) just checked, he is still walking around

Crag Wyvern on The Barrens drops different armour but here is one drop:

Shadeskin - 19/36

That is better than any armour you can buy. Drop rate is 100% + nearly 20k in gold. Watch out for the XP though.

Foerym Troll pops up every 3rd of 4th kill for me. Just be careful - you will rack up XP at Giants Alley. And with the way this game is structured, leveling is one of the worst things you can do.

The weapon drops are Mithril blade, demon blade , runic dwarven spell book.
I have also gotten the conquerer armor at barrens

I have killed a number of units on this map with no dragon appearing. Do you have to be at a certain level in the person quests? The one thin I haven't tried is to kill all units types on this map. Shamans were expensive to equip to kill them. I was hoping to know if it required a quest point before I went this route.

630xp for 22k gold....No, I don't think so. I'll stick to raiding. ;)
