I just wanted to put this out there so we don't get 1000 threads started about peoples KA breaking.

When working on the stages that require you to kill 30 mobs or if you are farming the mobs to increase your guilds progress on the quest, don't do it all uninterrupted! To be safe you should vault your gold or invade a rival(anything to sync your device with the server) at least once every 15 hits on Mobs or so... The main reason that everyone has problems with there game crashing and "not being able to open after the crash" is because you are doing to many actions on the game and your device cant keep up with what the server wants to know and the other way around. So if you want to have the safest time "farming" your mobs then you need to take short breaks to let your device talk to the server and send any information it needs to(this is what vaulting does).

Its been reported in the past that many people have problems with their game breaking and it always seems to happen to those that are farming a large number of mobs. I am one of the people who have this problem. I work in low cell service areas a lot. So I vault as often as I can to ensure my game doesn't "break". I have always found my game to crash after I hit mobs about 25-30.(which is the main reason for this thread... since many of the (H) quests require 30mobs) Therefore, I suggest everyone try to sync with the server as much as possible to help avoid problems.

If your game does crash, simply uninstall and reinstall KA. Your not going to lose any data, but you may lose a bit of progress on the LTQ(the part where your phone never sent the data to the server) but it wont be to much maybe a few mobs or so. After the uninstall be sure to let your game load up for a while and open and close your game a few times. This will help the game load up all the data it needs to get back on its feet. After everything is loaded back up then your good to go and can start attacking those mobs once more(Just be sure not to farm to many at a time this time :p)

Edit: Just as an added note. The big reason for the game crashing is due to poor cell and /or wifi signal. So if you plan on attacking a lot of mobs, it is probably best to do it where you have excellent cell/wifi signal. If you have this you might be able to get away without vaulting or anything... But if you have slower internet or limited cell service, then I suggest 100% you do as I said and try vaulting your gold or invading a rival at least once every 15 hits or so.(15 hits as in, 15 clicks on an enemy)

As a first gen iPad user I know this will be useful advice when I get there. Thanks

Thanks for posting this. Every single quest the same thing happens and I waste energy killing mobs that do not register. I've written to gree numerous occasions and whilst I accept that mistakes can sometimes happen, the frequency should not be ignored. If the servers cannot cope with the actions, then it is a fault of the game, not the player for doing what they are supposed to do. Especially now since there are so many mobs need killing.

Thanks DRJ. I must point out how ridiculous & redundant it is that we must always advise each other how to work around the errors in this game. O_o

But this still doesn't resolve the issue, that if you don't have a very fast Internet connection, don't even try to play KA. I am currently traveling in Asia, and trying to play KA from a hotel or a public place with wifi is just about impossible.

DRJ. I would just add that as you restart your device you should make sure you have the right seeding. This is different than the version. If you go to the about screen on your KA app it will tell you the version, currently at 1.9.1. Then under that you will see the content version. Currently we are on KA_20130806_4 build 230. That is year, month, date. Lately when I reload I start off with a July build that shows the current quest but no mobs. As I reload a few times I see the version update. Once I hit the last one I know it is safe to proceed with the quest.

This keeps happening despite the advice. I've had members of our guild complaining that it's happened with tougher mobs as well, and I believe them because it happened to me with the golems on lvl 14. Vault and reset does not always work. It's a frustrating problem.
