Is Android still in Beta?

I'm told it's not, yet we still have a substantial Android glitches thread. I can't think of any error or glitch that I experience now that I haven't experienced since I started in late May

I apparently started during the beta but I've seen no major changes or announcements aside from bosses getting harder and a proliferation of new players who are suddenly and curiously very strong

our lack of guilds, numeration of on-hand crafting resources makes me suspect we remain in Beta, as well as the significant lag before literally every knight selection, and oddly enough, friend acceptance

I mention these only briefly because there is obviously no need for 2 glitch/complaint threads.


I'm just curious how people seem to know we are out of Beta, since literally nothing has improved. I'm not even trying to complain, I just haven't observed any changes in the aspects of gameplay and proliferation of client-side data abuse that is normally forgiven during developing stages of a Beta phase

Yeah... I've been suspicious about this, too... I've seen people in the arena with 2 moontides and a tempered battlegear.. I mean... What are the odds on that anyway? Must be some serious gem spending.

Aside from that, I'm going to agree with your suspicions on Android still being in 'Beta'. I think it'll truly come out of beta when guilds come to us since that seems to be the next biggest step.

yeah, when guilds were first announced and I asked if Android would get them, they said no, it's still in Beta

I get that, it makes sense. The lag was asked about, "oh it will improve as the servers get upgraded after Beta ends and we iron out some kinks" and yet none of these have changed.

I'm curious what event slipped past unnoticed to herald the start of a new phase. I've literally played every day since starting.

I think beta will end when we get guilds which will aslo make epic bosses signifcantly easier. The lag is pretty unbearable and I'm looking forward to the friend lag going away

I saw a guy with 3 moontides ; unbelievable.

The best armor that the dpc gave me was Torchflame Mantle ; fortunatly epic boss are there for providing good armors to my knights ;)

as interesting as that may be, has anyone seen any Beta related announcements?

Haven't seen any announcements but every time I tried to download it previously it said I couldn't, and I know Wise One said it was a beta and US want included or some such nonsense. Well, it just downloaded for me now so I'd think its closer to not being beta than beta.

Whee. Time to start a new too on my nexus 10.
