The Black Rose certainly sounds like a boss event. More importantly, it certainly doesn't sound like any other event that they put on the schedule.

Typically a Boss Event is listed as a first and last name. It is possible that the Black rose is a boss but I am going to guess collet 10.

It most likely is a boss, but adding an article or rather uncoventional name is throwing people off. Gree already listened to the complains last cycle, don't think they wanna deal with it again.

It's a pseudonym. I can't see it being a box event. Going with the theme this cycle, shouldn't it be someone who has broken free from their captivity? The Black Rose sounds quite feminine and deadly at the same time.

I have to disagree - if you look on the schedule you can clearly identify box events - the fact that the third on the list is the Leather Satchel (a type of container) Event is a bit of a giveaway.

Logic suggests that they wouldn't have 2 box events in a row (only calling one "Event"), then 2 LTQs in a row. They'd mix them up

i say gree doen't know how to curve the boss events for all the new/higher stats.

my stats are so high, on the last boss event i got the bunny rabbit item for free with no gold spent.
and we know they don't want that.

I think boss events are usually 5 days long but it looks like almost every other event is too so not sure what that tell you...we'll find out soon enough

No they wouldn't. That's the point of campers hitting the boss. Only a handful would probably go for it anyways.
