Preloading does add xp but will save you gold.. So it's crazy not 2.. I always prehit and saves me 100s of gold each ltq

If you're going to do the LTQs, you're going to get that XP one way or another. I basically view pre-hitting as paying an upfront XP fee in exchange for gold. Doesn't matter if you get the XP from the first 10/11 hits in July and the 11th hit in August or the XP for all 11 hits in August. It's the same amount of XP in the end.

Yea but 1 day you will eventually need the ones you don't for this 1... I've so many prehit maps that I haven't used in ltq but I know as long as the format stays the same I will eventually use them.

If you're that concerned about XP, you are probably too low-leveled to be completing LTQs.

It always says "In progress" the day the event is scheduled to start, regardless of whether the event is ready or not. I prefer that go away if it's not going to start soon, so I don't anxiously await a new LTQ so I can start the next LTQ topic about it. :rolleyes:

Maybe the LTQ that starts on 8/12 is like the last one they did with collect 10. Its scheduled for the same days as the leather satchel event so quite possible. That was a good event. ;)

Help I'm still new. Lvl 26. What is preloading? How do u even compete in the ltqs when there not in the goals? Every ltq I've seen since since I started playing, doesn't show me anything like it would for a boss or an event like they just did with the chalices. HELP PLEASE!

You're too low level to trigger LTQs, and certianly too low level for pre-loading to be a good idea.

However, pre-loading is the hitting of multi-click jobs (so the 0/x jobs you see on maps) up until the final hit, so that when they come up on LTQ you only need to do the last job, thus saving gold (or getting you further for a given amount of gold, I guess).

A bit handy on the 0/3 type jobs. Amazingly handy on the 0/15 jobs.
