Agree with OP. Sirius, unlock the Marathon Thread. I'm very disappointed in you. Not even CJ would lock the thread!

actually, trolls/spammers make a good point proving moderation is pathetic at weekends .. i'd say give them a raise for waking up the mods on weekends .. gj trolls/spammers :)

and of course, agree with dippy .. marathon threads are called 'marathon' for a reason.

when sirius joined the forums and started giving warnings, i did mention, in a month or two he will begin slaughtering members/accounts/threads without giving any reasoning. see, its happening now. simply shows how standards fall down over a small duration of time :)

The guy freaking locked all the necro threads instead of nuking the post which would knock the thread back to the last page. Not a smart move on Sirius's part.

On the contrary - had he done that then users would just have been subjected to an encore performance by (SKK JL) EpicNecro1 tonight again. That may well happen with other threads but at least these ones have been consigned to death by the jolly jape.

EpicNecro isn't in SKK JL. You have to be a DC superhero to be in the JL division of SKK.

vBulletin software has the ability to prune old threads .. i wonder when r the mods going to use that feature and get rid of necros completely. setup a simple rule, prune threads that are 6 months old and there, we have a solution ..

they will find a way .. either they will create 10 spammy posts and then create their m4a1 thread or may be they can just jump into an ongoing discussion and derail the thread with their nube tube questions lol
