Is the treasury of gold still 100 pounds in the play store for everyone else in the UK too?

Also, don't you think its time the UK was charged fairly in line with the exchange rate... compared to the rest of Europe? The exchange rate has been between 1.14 and 1.25 for years. Its hardly fair on UK customers that europeans can get vaults or treasuries of gold for between 1/6 to 1/4 less in price than the UK. It gives Europeans a clear competitive advantage in this game

so even after the 20% off sale, a treasury of gold (i guess, its same as the vault of gold) costs you 100 pounds? wow .. i wonder if there's a chart/table where we can see/analyze what are people from different parts of the world actually paying for the same amount of gold. will be interesting.

I believe a treasury is the new one, 3100 gold (2 vaults + 100 gold). I believe it's on Android-only because of iTunes limitations on in-app purchase sizes.

Gree have forgotten to reduce the price. The named the item 20% off... then forgot to take the 20% off the actual payment. Not the first time they have done this. But again... the other underlying issue is that the Pound is not the same as the euro in terms of currency, yet Gree seem to treat it the same.

I kinda touched on this in another game. It is for KA but it is still the same... This is just a little math I did the other day.

It really all depends on how you look at it.

Here in the U.S. our prices are:
Handful of Gems (50) -- $4.99 ($.0998 per single Gem or 6.48p per single gem)
Pile of Gems (110) -- 10% Extra -- $9.99($.0908 per single Gem or 5.89p per single gem)
Bag of Gems (240) -- 20% Extra -- $19.99 ($.0833 per single Gem or 5.41p per single gem)
Chest of Gems (650) -- 30% Extra -- $49.99 ($.0769 per single gem or 4.99p per single Gem)
Mountain of Gold (1500) -- 50% Extra -- $99.99 ($.0666 per single Gem or 4.28p per single gem)
** I carried the numbers out a bit on the USD conversion just to show more exact numbers. $.01 ~= .65p

While yours are:
Handful of Gems (50) --- £2.99 (5.98p per single Gem or $.0920 per single gem)
Pile of Gems (110) --- 10% Extra --- £6.99 (6.35p per single Gem $.1075)
Bag of Gems (240) --- 20% Extra --- £13.99 (5.83p per single Gem $.0869)
Chest of Gems (650) --- 30% Extra --- £34.99 (5.38p per single Gem $.0828 )
Mountain of Gold (1500) --- 50% Extra --- £69.99 (4.67p per single Gem $.0718)

Price Per Gem (USD)
My Price / Your Price
.0998 / .0920 (Should be ~.1181 based on other prices)
.0908 / .1075
.0833 / .0869
.0769 / .0828
.0666 / .0718

So ultimately the price of your gems costs a bit more than I can purchase them for. But that's simply due to conversion, currency, inflation, Itunes, etc.

I will agree with you, the %extra is displayed a little wrong.
But If you look at it another way (ignoring what it costs us both as individuals). You are actually receiving a discount on the gems you are purchasing(in the 50 gem pack). I believe the pricing they gave you was the best they could do to try and keep all the prices at a .99 cost(ie. 2.99, 4.99, 49.99 etc.) As these look better to the customer when making a purchase.

Hi, is there any info on when this will be fixed?

I need to buy my bars for the world domination event tonight, and I want as much as possible for my money.

If I go ahead and pay £100 for the treasury, will GREE give me £20 worth of bars back?

With sale prices, that would be approximatley 480 bars.

Is there anyone I can talk to on here besides the support team, as they usually take 2 weeks to reply. :(

I'm not purchasing until they sort it out

I had an issue like this before, where I purchased gold without recieving sale prices.
The outcome was, the support guy added bars to my account.

I've purchased mines, as I cannot wait until this is fixed, battle starts tonight and we all gotta be ready. :)

Sent my ticket in, can let you know how it goes, if you're interested?

Android player in Norway.
Treasury of gold - 20% off = 933,31 NOK (1166,64 NOK normal price)
discount is added at checkout in googleplay.

also if this means anything to you those prices converted from NOK to USD is:
20% sale Treasury = $156,66915
full price treasury = $195,836857

The screenshot i posted of play store clearly shows that discount hasn't been applied in play store for UK people.

I don't know what you're all moaning at. I'd say that's a fair price considering ios have to pay £110 for 2 vaults (discounted) and get 3000 gold. I'd say 3100 for £100 is already discounted.

so in your eyes things doesnt have to be correct as long as somewhere someone else has it worse.
interesting logic

No that's not my logic, my logic is that every player should have a fair chance and be on equal terms. So if people are going to buy gold, every player should get the same amount for the same price.

No treasury on my UK android, but you're right, I didn't get a discount last time on my vault. There's loads of disparities though, apart from us Brits being overcharged. iOS players get a bad deal compared to other platforms, because of Apple charges. iOS users don't even get a treasury. We all play the same game but the features and coding discriminate.

Gree could even out the playing field to account for iOS' higher charges, because let's face it, it's a virtual product, but they don't. Customer satisfaction is less important than squeezing money out of customers for a bunch of pixels. The RL cost to their outlay would be negligible because there's no real physical product.

And yes, I know all the arguments about/against buying gold, but what we're buying is extra enjoyment value. It would not be financially detrimental to level things out if they thought strategically in terms of influencing customer attitude.

Sorry, hun, but I can barely understand what you say. Have you tried using Google Translator or can a fellow same-language speaker help? I suspect if I could understand it, it might be anti-British so I won't rise to the bait and explain why there's an English Channel and why, historically and economically, the British have done far more for Europe than is sometimes remembered. Suffice to say, in this matter, we're all in the same boat and should leave xenophobia out of it. Hope your problem is sorted soon.

Joker are you honestly trying to compare a free in game scratcher where most prizes are worthless to spending real money on gold??

Also, England is in the euro, it was one of the founding country's. we just don't want a standardised currency. It's not beneficial to our country. Gree has obviously had complaints from people from other country's otherwise they wouldn't have removed the treasury from everybody except the US.

Smoothie

I already said, it's not beneficial to our country. Infact, the European Union in general has little benefit for England at the minute.

Maybe you should sell all your buildings and stop playing too.

I take it your English classes didn't go so well at school?

There's quite a few country's that only take the best bits. All the other country's are having to pay £60m a DAY to keep their membership. That's what the uk wants to stop. And get rid off all the insane and pathetic human rights laws.

Ciara

We take the best bits out of Europe which is why we pay so much more than other countries and get so little back? We provide subsidies to the rest of the world , the only budget that hasn't been slashed is DFID's, whilst our poorest people have to go to food banks? Give me strength. If we didn't hand out so much money to fiscally incompetent countries, we wouldn't be in the mess we are and could treat our own citizens with dignity.

Reminds me of:

"All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?" (Monty Python, Life of Brian)
