Please restart game

I am playing on iOS and have been getting a blue box on the screen with the message "Please restart game." Anyone else seeing this?

I got it as well. The game had been open for a while and my phone was locked, then when I came back and tried to attack someone I got the blue box with the message. I restarted the app though and it hasn't come back.

This is annoying! With my crappy 3G connection it takes a while for the app to load, so I leave the app open behind the lockscreen (iOS). Now every time I haven't played for a few minutes it says me to reload the app, which makes a 10 second check for money buildings suddenly a one minute wait... This is no improvement whatsoever!

I got this on Android earlier when I tried to vault. I did what the nice app told me, and all the actions I had taken in game before receiving the message had been nullified, so I chalked it up to a connection issue.

Have done Micky, and still getting this annoying message which forces us to close the game and waste valuable time.

For me, it seems to happen when the game has been idle for a short time - perhaps it's a new mechanic to get us fighting non-stop 24/7?

Its a throw over from the add unit patch I'd guess, have you completely removed and reinstalled?

I bet it is a fix to people camping on somebody's base for hours and repeatedly raiding them for hours at a time...makes them have to restart their game and pick on somebody else. That would be my guess

Youre probably right, but how stupid is that? Its a war game, not friggin candy crush. If you hate being attacked and raided, you have some strategic options available.

1) build your vault and dont go too far over
2) collect your money from buildings regularly
3) get stronger
4) if you fail at all of the above, delete the war game from your device and go play chess or something. Though be advised, youre going to lose pieces in that game too.

Well, in the two situations this occurred to me I was in my base once and in some map for the LTQ on the other, so I don't think it's to prevent camping and my guess is this is occurring either because:

1) Part of some plan by Gree to get rid of hackers - By measuring all data regarding players at each login (optimistic scenario)
2) Some server issue that it's affecting gameplay (pessimistic but perhaps realistic scenario)

Two separate accounts, two different versions of iPad ( 3 and 4), both MW apps previously trouble-free, both current versions and datasets, both have the same restart game warning box, both problems started yesterday evening, both continued problems through today, and both seem to happen after reasonably short inactive period following last use.

However, I do recall at least one was while actively selecting LTQ targets.

It would appear either something server-side is amiss or Gree has implemented this behavior for some phantom reason previously not disclosed.

I wouldn't worry about messing with your devices. It is all in Gree's side of things.

Gree fix your mess. i put my iphone so it will not go dark till at least 5 mins try going into settings and do that poop and see if it helps u..it helped me out

its already set at 5 minutes. the problem is at work i don't always get back in 5 minutes..... sometimes 10 to 15. finding a target is hard enough as it is. once i find a target i like stay on it till my stamina regens. that means leaving it open while i walk away and come back and keep raiding....

its the new hacker detection system. Now we all know who the hackers are. I dont get that pop up on my ios or my droid.

Yea can't get it to go after a dozen+ attempts....but to be fair i have an update to run (i only do those a day or two before the WD events though because they usually screw something up and i like to finish my Boss before that happens.

Pls fix that and put it back to old mode! This makes the game unplayable and ruins every event where speed is part of the game! Imagine having only 10sec on timer in boss or wd event! WFT!

Totally random, TC, as in I cannot replicate the issue on any of my devices, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesnt!

I sent a support message yesterday morning about this issue and received a reply last night that the issue has been fixed. I have not gotten a restart the game message since then at all whereas I was getting the message pretty much every time I unlocked my iPad yesterday morning
