Question about nation changes

If I use gold to switch to another nation, would I be able to change between my two nations for free or would I have to buy the first nation again?

You have to buy the one you changed from again sadly.

Every time you choose to change your nation - GreeD wants 50 Gold.

It would be awesome if you were able to switch back to a Nation that you already purchased - flippity floppity - and watch your stats change or gain an advantage during a LTE on regen :)
