1.you could buy chests with gold. Perhaps 1000-5000 for silver. 100k-500k for the gold chest and 1mil+ gold for the DPC. The special events must be bought with gems however.

2.like eunuchorn said before, take away those lovely 1 stars. They are a waste of 20 gems and are getting some people frustrated. The 1 stars are already In the gold chest I believe.

What do people think?

#1: Good for players, bad for Gree's pocketbooks. Money > all, so it's doubtful until the game is in decline.

#2: They did that with the new dragon chests... and I can assure you, the 2 stars are just as much of a waste for 30 gems (sometimes more so) than the 1 stars.

I don't know how much to the hype of Android chests having better rates than IOS chests is legitimate, though it does smack of Medellin marketing; however, if it is, I think everyone would be happier if they were at parity.

Likewise I don't see any damage to the game economy if the rate was improved anyway. Granted they do it as sales, but I have to admit as someone who blew some slush fund cash (money obtained from my hobby) on chests, other than speeding some of the more tedious parts of the game, it doesn't really seem to be worth it. When one does get 3 or 4 star armor, it's liable to be either obsolete and plus versions of anything are a massively rare anyway... good luck getting both a quality armor piece and the plus mod with the same draw.

Comparatively inexpensive lottery habit.
