In your opinion, what would be a better choice, to spend 15 gold to reset timer or 15 gold on opening crate? I'm not a big gold spender.

If your going for all ten which is the right thing to do then yes do it, but keep in mind is not going to be cheap at all

Don't spend at all but if you do; then to open. I am at 7 opens for maps and only use the cash open.

OK - IF you are going to use gold - only do a Gold Open on the exact moment when your Cable Box or phone changes to :00 :15 :30 or :45 minutes past the hour. Also - if you opened at :15 last hour - wait until :30 this hour.

This is HB Bomber's method & it worked for me twice already - way cheaper than the "McDoc Method" although I McDoc'd it to 7 in the first 15 minutes :0 - LoL

BTW - HB method works for a Cash open on those same times - better chance of getting an open (anything other than Sorry) - Good Luck!

McDoc, I've never came across that strategy before. I have 5 maps so far. If I need to spend gold to collect #10, then I'll wait toward the end of the event.

I'm on #9 - but I don't like to be stuck on #9 on the last 24 hours :/

I'm close behind as well. I have 6 with cash opens, and I opened 7 in a row today, receiving 5 charts. I don't play much a day either.

At mcdoc, so are you saying to add 15 minutes after every opening?
015 then 030 then 045 past the hour?

Doc, you forgot the part about "it helps if you go off of HB's cable box time... not your cable box, but HB's..."

All I know is, I can claim I was there when this conversation was taking place along with you, Selfproclaimed, Cope, and HB. Probably one of the funniest group chat convo I could remember.

Had a good laugh at this but it's rubbish I'm afraid. The success rate of opening boxes is based on a formula, not the time when you open them on a clock.

This is true and is factored into the greedy calculation to entice more gold spending. It's called coding for profit.
