No, you have pretty good odds until you reach 8. After that, it gets hard.

This is by far the best event for stat/xp ratio.

This should be the lowest XP event.
You can raid Supply Depots, Armories and Command Centers under lvl 7 for 1XP. (the drop rate is another story)
No XP for opening the boxes though.

Needless to say the possibility of getting 10 makes up for the XP and even if you only get 7 - 9 the prizes will all make it to your army (and you should still be better off than doing an LTQ for the XP)

Yes the unit appears pretty awesome, this might be a quick change of prizes to calm down the followers here as a response to the medium sized ****storm about the (in comparison) ridiculous LTQ in non prestige.

But be sure the 10th box wont come cheap. It's like hitting 777 on a slot machine. Btw, who monitors the percentual change of winning. Shouldn't at least a puplic notice about the odds get published. All other games, mashines, lottery, real life scratchers etc. have to provide that information.

To only have 10 to open untill you feel like a winner is psychological clever. The overall chance wont be different like the 25 aussie boxes for instance. But you are willing to pump in way more, because, c'mon, there only missing like 3, 2, 1 boxes.

Iam excited about that anyway and have a reason again to lock in hourly and have a little gamble going on..

Then awhile ago it changed to a % drop...however the past 2 seem like its back to the old system. I seem to get 2+ from the same player usually but can hit 20+ players and not get one. Also as the event carries on it seems to be easier and easier (based on last results) so i'm not sure anymore.

Thanks nameless. Pretty sure when the 10 box events first came out you needed to attack a player who had them on hand. Glad they changed it becuase it was a pain to look through people's inventory to search for the units.

In past events it's evident that early in the event or with a lower number of opened boxes you have a higher chance of opening a box. As the event goes on and you have more opened boxes the chance of opening decreases. I've done all the events it's always the same, and it is not legal when real money is involved.

Also real money is not involed...they make you purchase Fake gold with your real money first so that there is a loophole...also they are not offering real money as a prize (yet another loophole)

I have found that using McDoc's strategy of going for the first 9 right off the bat, the using cash opens from then on has much better results. In the past, I used close to a 1000 gold going from 9-10 with no luck. This event, I went from 9-10 on my 3rd try. I did drop quite a bit of gold on 8-9 though. The good thing is they offer decent units like the tank eliminator which is indestructible. I've gotten 11 of them.

I'm not sure what the best strategy is, but my personal experience has taught me to go quick and early.

I have gotten the 10th prize three times. No gold used, im a kid so no income Lol. Only tip i can give you is honestly you have to open the boxes every single hour... It is hard to get the tenth unit. Once i had to have at least 16 tries. Once it took no effort and opened right away. It is actually on your luck. Unless you get to use gold. But it is Possible for non gold users to get them.

I spent far less on this than any LTQ and the prizes are great with the boosts. The final unit alone have me a 37k boost (of course ymmv depending on your inventory). I spent way less than a vault and for that type of increase I will do that all day.

I hardly ever get any going through the rivals list. I started hitting just the guys on my news feed and I get cases like every third attack. It also seems to help letting the guys recoup an hour or two after I grab 1 or 2 then I get more when I go back. In two hours I got 32 cases.

I figured as much, last time I was shooting for the BB using no gold and ended on 9. I have been getting a bunch of tank eliminators which is a really nice consolation prize. If I have to open 100 cases I will do it, I MUST have that Shrike! I have 5 days, I think I can relax a little bit. It is just that people are saying the sooner the event you have better chances to open cases. Should I buy more gold or is 5 days enough time to do it on cash?

That is because Gree employees only have to pass a basic spelling test to get a job. Apart from the spelling test, there is only one other complex test of ingenuity, with a requirement score of 70% or higher.

Wouldnt it be cool if a future Limited edition building would be a boost building....not for air, sea, etc, but for luck. Every level of the building would boost your chance on events like this by 1% or something. Maybe an idea for a new Boost building period, not necessarily a limited edition. But damn i love this prize

Thats a nice idea, but then you always have to maintain a kind of balance between those who almost have everything already anyway and those who stuck in the game wish they started like half a year earlier and cant effort these 55M for LE buildings. You should be able to win one of these on the scratcher tho so that chances would be equal to have/get one, the followup with upgrading would be a different story though..

It only took 32 hrs since that last post to complete. Between tapjoy and cash opens I was able to complete it with 38 boxes. Only gained 2000XP and gained 14k attack and 12k defence base stats. It was the most worthwhile event I have participated. Tapjoy has been raining gold lately.

Took me 480 gold to get to 10. Cash opens are just too slow.
