EDIT: Well, this is a weird LTQ. I'll try to list the jobs as well as my personal drop rate, and I will sum the energy total later. I'm on Android.

As an additional note, I will always be doing the cheaper energy job when given the option. This might affect drop rates, I'm not sure.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What level do I need to be to participate?
A: The minimum level is 31, says Assault & Flattery.

Q: Why don't I see the LTQ?
A: Make sure you have the latest dataset and update. On iOS I believe that means opening and closing your game a few times. Android will tell you in the "About" page when a dataset is Updating. If you don't see anything here, try uninstalling and reinstalling your game.

Q: What are the drop rates for the items?
A: I have no idea. I'm going to post my personal drop rate as a reference, but there is no way to tell if I'm lucky or unlucky, as 1 person hardly constitutes a sample. I am going to post the absolute minimum energy and XP requirements, followed by my personal energy/XP spent. Here is how you can calculate the expected energy/XP requirements if you know the drop rates.

Suppose you need 15 loot items from a job that costs 100 energy per hit and gives 10XP per hit. The absolute minimum requirements of energy and XP would be assuming a 100% drop rate, that is, each job gives the loot item. This means the minium requirements would be 15 * 100 energy, 15 * 10xp = 1500 energy, 150xp.

Now let's say you know the drop rate of this item is actually 75%. What you will do is divide those minimum totals by the drop rate (as a decimal, not a percentage-- 75% = 0.75). So for example,
1500 energy / 0.75 = 2000 energy
150xp / 0.75 = 200xp.

This means you can expect to spend about 2000 energy, and earn about 200xp. Of course, you can get 'lucky' or 'unlucky' and end up spending more or less than this, but these figures are what you can expect to spend.

Definitely not 100% drop rate. Plus you have to be patient after you get the items for the goal completion to be activated!

I noticed that the higher the level (by level I mean the level of the LTQ, out of 27), the less chance I had of getting the item. Near the beginning it was almost 100%, but as it progresses it got harder for me. Anyone else have any other theories? That could have just been me.

For my high-level account I agree this is beyond annoying...but I could see this being useful for low-level accounts. My L15 account won't be participating because that is strictly a camper though.

Well I started basic with my alt account and so far I am getting the same drops and misses in the exact same order I got with my main account. Are you sure there is any random factor involved? Seems like an ordered pattern of hit and miss.

they are random. people from my syndicate miss in different players. some levels give out without miss, some have lots of misses. myself my misses are:
20 energy - once
32 energy - once
50 energy - once
40 energy - once
160 - 4 times

thats per level but I didnt log wich level it was, I just wanted to see how much energy Im using for nothing

I will do this as soon as I finish the Normal Mode. It's going a lot slower than typical LTQs, of course.




Also, another note-- I wasn't keeping track of the loot items you were supposed to collect, since I thought they'd be booby prizes, but I just finished #16, and the "Street Knuckles" actually boosted my stats, so perhaps I will start listing these items and check the stats in my inventory later.

Agree, there is a long delay between collecting the required number of items and getting credit for it. I've gone through the first four levels collecting 1-2 more than I should have needed before getting the splash screen with the reward. Fifth level, I collected about a dozen pistols (four were required). Finally went back to the goals list, which had switched to the sixth level; when I clicked "Visit", I saw the splash screen for the level-5 reward.

Lesson learned: Slow down.

I finished NORMAL mode with only a moderate 280 gold spend, actually drop rates for me never went worse then 50%, but mostly at 75% or higher. Couldn't tell if the higher energy buildings had higher %, but do not think so.

Same goals in ELITE, however # of items you have to get is growing rapidly :(

lvl 1 = 10 guns, lvl 2 = 12, lvl 3 = 14, lvl 4 = 16, lvl 5 = 18 .. thats where I am now .. can't tell what the numbers further up are going to be, but it LOOKS like it is increasing by 2 all the way !

I've attacked a few dozen times and none of the explosives that were dropped as the collectible loot have been consumed. Looks like they're here to stay.

The energy and xp gains Might be greater and the luck factor annoying but when comparing this ltqs rewards to the previous one (soviet scuffle ) these are much better when comparing stats to xp ratio. At least for the normal mode

Yes, I had a similar thought. Usually I level up 3-4 levels during an LTQ, and I've yet to level up so far this LTQ, although the energy and XP requirements start to get quite a bit heavier in the Elite mode.

What level are you? Very low level I presume. Is your sig up to date? L45?

As a general statement, the normal mode of the LTQ has a very good stat per XP ratio. I usually level up a couple of times during an LTQ, but I have yet to level up (it's also possible that this is because the loot items required keeps increasing from normal to elite mode, and perhaps when all is said and done ad Elite mode is finished, the energy/xp will be the same as usual). That said, it's still an LTQ, which means high XP requirements.

Another possible alternative to following the LTQ is to simply farm the loot items, especially if you have a need for a particular item. For instance, on Junkyard you can get a 15/15 nonconsumable explosive (15/15) at 87 energy per hit. They seem to have around a drop rate of at least 2/3. Previously one of the best nonconsumables to farm is The Last Call (25/18) on Cartel Compound for 518 energy-- 100% drop rate on Android, 15-25% drop rate on iOS. For that same amount of energy, you could get yourself 4-6 of the Junkyard explosives (15/15), which is especially appealing at lower levels since Sarin Grenades (30atk) and Land mines (25def) aren't available yet. Not that I recommend that, it's just one suggestion. Another good option for farming items in this LTQ are the vehicles. Decently good drop rate, and the vehicles compare with items in the store that cost hundreds of thousands (or millions) of in-game cash. Either choice (weak nonconsumable explosive, decent vehicle) will save you a lot of in-game cash that could have been spent on items.

Even as a stronger high level player, this might be a good idea. My inventory is fairly top heavy, so I noticed in the later stages of the LTQ, the loot items were actually replacing my weakest inventory items. I'll have to pay more attention the second time around (Elite) to which items help me the most.

It's already been reused in an LTQ at least twice before. But it's not even remotely the same, giving the Executive Coupe away for free to most everyone completely neutered the advantage of having that -30% upgrade cost modifier!

As long as we're griping, seeing the Classic Roadster (Collect-20 leaderboard prize) in (one of?) the first LTQ event(s) really pissed me off. I now have 3 Classic Roadsters and 3 M99 Snipers (I think, at least 3). I wish they didn't reuse LTQ prizes so often, because I liked trying to size up a player by his inventory items. If I saw your inventory a while ago, I'd have seen your crate items and figured you for a decent/big gold spender (especially if you had multiple rares). If I saw (perhaps in a syndicate battle) the Chinatown Underbelly Vest/Viper/etc, I'd figure they have a good IPH and some decent buildings. Now I'll see like 2 Vests and wonder what the hell that means- LTB? Syndicate Showdown fight goal? LTQ? Who knows.

I do hear it a lot, from my inbox (which has blown up each day, usually with questions), to people visiting my hood asking if I'm the same BigMoney as on the forums. I was also mildly offended when Spartacus mistook me for the wrong "Big Money" (L200+, 140k def). Although if you match me in war, feel free to believe I have a defense in the 100k's. :)

It's obviously not possible for gree to create new items for every event with this many going. I doubt they have a full time artist/graphics guy dedicated to just this. Some of the prizes look like they were modeled in Maya or 3ds max. So i can see it being a little time consuming. I think it makes sense that they have to reuse like crazy. If we assume they have to put out this many events this often.

Then again, a new skin, and a different angle, with a different zoom makes for an all new model. So maybe it's not that hard. If they do in fact use 3d modeling programs.

By the way, since you mentioned having trouble finding the "Smashed Cars"-- not that you can hit the "Crushed Cars" right in front of them (the pile of cars with a white car on top) that requires 48 energy-- you can hit it and still receive the "Junkyard Explosive." :) Even though it wasn't mentioned in the goals!

I believe the others are correct but don't really remember. I have screenshots on a couple of them on my phone that I could check later. I'm on Droid and definetely did not have 100% drop rate and the last few were probably around 40%. I had 3 straight gold resets on the final mission that netted me 1 drop.

I will not spend gold on this type of LTQ again. Not worth the gold imo.

For a non-elite player who's trying to hit 1.5k atk/lvl, Park Trafficking (PT) is a better deal than the Soviet Shuffle (SS). Overall SS delivered 6,793 Atk for 10,465XP at around 1.6XP/Atk. PT is giving 8,448 Atk for (roughly) 6,747XP at around 0.62XP/Atk.

It still means my lvl 61 guy is going up to at least 3 levels but it gives 2.8k Atk / lvl. That's a worthwhile investment.

Unfortunately, I think so many people whined about the Executive Coupe coming back after they spent gold to get it last time, that they won't do that again (at least not on purpose).

Ironically, I bet most of the people who cried about it would love to see Emerald Burner, Loaded Dice or some other mod come around again--but won't get the chance because of their own actions.

I'm currently on 23 Elite, and I've used my drop rates in the normal mode and elite mode combined to try and guess what the drop rate is for each loot item, and then I used this figure to give an estimated energy and XP total (to compare it to mine-- the estimate I currently have is higher than my totals, but I also feel like I got a bit "lucky" the first time around). Now that I'm doing job 50+ times, I seem to be much closer to the true drop rate in later levels (a lot of my drop rates were almost exactly 60% for a few levels in a row, except for Graveyard). It seems logical to me that the drop rate would steadily decrease on each level, but there's no way for me to tell the difference between e.g. 100% drop rate and me getting 24/24 loot items on a 90% drop rate. If you know how I can find the true drop rates, I would love to know.

I'm currently working on Elite mode estimates-- you'll have to forgive me for being slow to update these, as it's a lot less straightforward than simply summing up the energy and XP totals for a list of jobs.

Android has 100% drop rate on multi-click jobs, not single click jobs like the ones in the LTQ. "Multi-click" meaning the job has multiple parts, e.g. like a map boss where you have to hit them 12 times to defeat them or whatever. On Android, go to job that drops a loot item (if you click a job once, in the place that lists the job details, e.g. "Flower Shop - Rob; Reward: $1100-$1512, 20xp, [loot symbol]; requires 100 energy [weapon 1] [weapon 2]"

There is a loot symbol that tells you which jobs drop loot. Find a multi-part job that drops loot. Say, Trackside Slums, Aaren Pierce.

Step: 0/2

This is a multi-click job. Do it, and you will get a Homemade TNT every time you complete the second part on Android.

Ok, I'm getting my ass kicked trying for the Scuba armor, lvl 20 seaside. I got to 10/11 needed in maybe 15 jobs, but i've done the tiki bar job maybe 20 times since and haven't gotten that last stupid scuba armor, did anyone else have this problem?

Apologies for being slow to update, but this LTQ was far more time-consuming than usual to document. I did my best.

I just finished updating drop rates from the normal mode, filling in all of the Elite mode expected totals, and I finally put together a picture of all the prizes sans the last one, which I'm still working on. 100 is a lot of items. The only thing missing is the final entry for "my totals." Perhaps it's because I based the expected totals mainly on my own drop rates, but the estimated totals for normal mode were much closer after I used my drop rates from the elite mode. Eg. I may have gotten 13/19 drops the first time around, but second time around is 53/96 or something, giving a much better estimate. The game has been especially cruel to me on this stupid final Elite level-- seems the closer you get to 100 loot items, the more sparse the drops become. Grrr.

As a side effect of this LTQ, the loot drops have made the collect20 booby prizes completely irrelevant again, after they were briefly relevant for a while.

2. I think you got that backwards-- Crushed Cars costs less energy (48e/14xp) than the Smashed Cars (87e/13xp) you're supposed to hit. I was telling Bala about them on page 12, but I haven't hit th Crushed Cars enough to see if the drop rate is any better or worse. Seemed to me to be a little worse, but I think I need to do the Elite Mode thing of hitting it 100+ times to be sure.

- Simply put. Fun at first. It quickly proved tedious and boring. It sapped my will to live. Not enjoyed at all!

And in general...

Three LTQs per cycle seems to be the norm now. The back-to-back PvPs are what really killed me though. I could sit out an LTQ if I wanted, but I can never sit out the team competitions.

EDIT: Well, this is a weird LTQ. I'll try to list the jobs as well as my personal drop rate, and I will sum the energy total later. I'm on Android.

As an additional note, I will always be doing the cheaper energy job when given the option. This might affect drop rates, I'm not sure.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What level do I need to be to participate?
A: The minimum level is 31, says Assault & Flattery.

Q: Why don't I see the LTQ?
A: Make sure you have the latest dataset and update. On iOS I believe that means opening and closing your game a few times. Android will tell you in the "About" page when a dataset is Updating. If you don't see anything here, try uninstalling and reinstalling your game.

Q: What are the drop rates for the items?
A: I have no idea. I'm going to post my personal drop rate as a reference, but there is no way to tell if I'm lucky or unlucky, as 1 person hardly constitutes a sample. I am going to post the absolute minimum energy and XP requirements, followed by my personal energy/XP spent. Here is how you can calculate the expected energy/XP requirements if you know the drop rates.

Suppose you need 15 loot items from a job that costs 100 energy per hit and gives 10XP per hit. The absolute minimum requirements of energy and XP would be assuming a 100% drop rate, that is, each job gives the loot item. This means the minium requirements would be 15 * 100 energy, 15 * 10xp = 1500 energy, 150xp.

Now let's say you know the drop rate of this item is actually 75%. What you will do is divide those minimum totals by the drop rate (as a decimal, not a percentage-- 75% = 0.75). So for example,
1500 energy / 0.75 = 2000 energy
150xp / 0.75 = 200xp.

This means you can expect to spend about 2000 energy, and earn about 200xp. Of course, you can get 'lucky' or 'unlucky' and end up spending more or less than this, but these figures are what you can expect to spend.

NORMAL MODE TOTALS
Absolute minimum possible energy*: 17,767 energy
My energy total: 26,250 energy
Estimated energy**: 26,690 energy

Absolute minimum XP*: 3792xp + 1134 prize xp = 4,926xp
My XP total: 5598 xp + 1134 prize xp = 6,732xp
Estimated XP**: 5616 xp + 1134 prize xp = 6,750xp

Normal mode prize items raw stats: 8448 attack / 7338 defense

ELITE MODE
Absolute minimum possible energy*: 68,846 energy
My energy total: 108,253 energy
Estimated energy**: 106,434 energy

Absolute minimum XP*: 14,824xp + 1,890 reward XP = 16,714 xp
My XP total: 21,808 xp + 1,890 reward XP = 23,698 xp
Estimated XP**: 22,648xp + 1,890 reward XP = 24,538 xp

Elite mode prize items raw stats: 14515 attack / 14019 defense

*based on a miracle 100% drop rate.

Just to say that the items from the missions on p1 are still farmable - I've been collecting Junkyard Explosives (15/15) as I see them as a good alternative to consumables for a low to mid level player such as me.
