You're lucky then, 2 hours into the event my rivals list was 99% populated with level 180-190 that can't be attacked
And the odd level 250 which was generally a member of fight club so untouchable to us normo's

I managed level 7 and 500k points and was pretty dedicated to looking for rivals.

Either a gree manipulation or server overload!

Either a gree manipulation or server overload!

The second one. The server load during pvp events and the design of the rivals list algorithm are not good pals; we're working on a permanent long-term solution.

In the meantime, let this be a lesson for all players not to level up past 175 unless your stats are 7 figures.

Leveling up past 180 helped me in the PvP when level 250s started taking shots at my buildings. They're worth much better points than 99% of people on my level.

You're working on a permanent solution? It's been three months so far. Do you realize you're screwing your best customers? GREE holds event after event and yet players at level 250 are at a mind-boggling disadvantage. And it was GREE that offered that offered a big prize for leveling up to 250 enticing waves of players to be trapped by the inadequacies of your programming. All you have to do is one simple thing until it is fixed. Allow level 250 players to attack sub-200 players. Then we would actually have players to attack. Shame on you!

i'm gonna throw the BS flag on the server overload. if that were the case, how come other levels didn't have a similar problem? also, are we assuming ALL 245-250 players had the problem? or was it just a percentage of them?

Or don't run events that cause problems?

this happened to me too. really irritating. i am more than happy to tap 5000 times but not if it takes two minutes of reloading/scrolling for a target.

either this isnt accurate or my server was overloaded 24/7. were some of us just on a bad server for the entirety of the event?

there were absolutely players in the high 240s who didnt have the problem.

I started the event at lvl248.... had some instances of the lvl180-190 issue in the first couple days... but hit refresh a couple more times and it would come good.... wasn't to painful.

As soon as i hit lvl250.... i only saw lvl180-190 and the very occasional 250.... so screwed...

The moment the event finishes, my rival list is ok again..... What the???

This "issue" totally sucked the life out of being able to complete the event goals as there was basically no one to attack.

Could only rob, so have to waste time going in and out of peep's hoods to find someone that gave some sort of reasonable coin output!!! 99% of them was 150 or less, which is totally useless....

Fix it please Gree, or no gold from me next pvp event. This isn't a new issue, it's been around for months during normal play too.

We, the players, give our hard earned cash and we expect a reliable and even playing field. If you can't provide it, then don't bother, wait until you can.

Sorry if i sound p****d off, but i am! I love the game, but the constant issues with it are wearing thin; time to get it right, even if that means less events for a little while!

But hey, that's just my opinion, as a gold paying customer!

thats what i think also... plenty of ppl in my syndicate and a couple of other syns i know players level 220-240 no problems with their rivals list.

I ended at L243 and never had a problem. My only problem was I had a ton of cash on hand and was getting hit 50 x's an hour. That seems to be back to 20 every 2 hours now.

i completely forgot that little bit of BS....my newsfeed couldn't keep up with the number of attacks against me. i had over 50 an hour throughout the event. i'd be hunting a decent 180-190 to rob (since i couldn't attack) and i'd have 24 new messages. mostly successful attacks. then 5 minutes later a different pair of attackers would hit me for 30-40 attacks. then 15 minutes later another batch of 24-30 attacks. this went on and on (not unlike this post)

If the load was too much. Split the competition low level one weekend high level the next

kudos to all lvl250 players in top100, that required some serious hours of gaming all weekend. what a waste of time finding anyone to attack and right after the event ends lists full of lvl220/230 and even a whole list with lvl250?

server overload caused by the event? i dont buy it. fix the game Gree, players drop like flies.

regards,

Andy

In a real life situation scouting would reveal weakness not having to page through dozens of suitable targets.

The new game style is causing a big distortion with more and more weaker players at high level with no reason to attack
