Hello, my fellow Modern War Players, I know you have seen a lot of goodbyes and could care less if anyone else left, but I just wanted to say farewell. Modern war has always been a great but also very time-consuming game for me. I started playing 1 year ago, back when having 10,000 A/D used to be considered strong. I remember getting my first unit with stats in the 100 range, it was called the Heavy Defender(45A/105D, I think). I felt so much pride getting that unit, but these days I don't get that same feeling when I earn even stronger units. Modern War used to be all about having fun and relaxing but nowadays, as pointed out by other, its all about who can spend the most money. Also, as I stated earlier, Modern war is very time consuming. When I look back at my life 40 years from now, I don't want to have to see my whole childhood spent playing this game, I want to see myself striving for success in the outside world. Yes, I know no one is making me spend this much time playing this game, but it is to addicting. A one year addiction is easier to stop then playing for four more years and then wanting to stop. I was in a great faction called United States Of America. It hurts me to leave them cause they were my modern war family, but I must do what needs to be done. And with this I say Farwell. I might come back to the forums every once in a while to see how bad Gree has screwed up, but I shall never play the game again. Instead I shall play less time and money consuming games like Clash of Clans or Black ops, or ill just spend more time with my family.
