Ive noticed the higher defence you attack based on your attack the more points you get so for say.

you are 50k attack and attack someone with 60k def and win youll get more points then attacking someone with 30k def, but you also have a high chance of losing which is why i think they give you more points for attacking higher defence.

Also what was the first item for the 1/14? i finished it but it didnt load my item and it doesnt look like my stats changed much.

question: as an individual do I need to stay at a tier, say top 1000 to receive the prize for that level or is it enough to simply breach the top 1000? also, last time around the best prize was given first...was that mistake?

Yes you need to finish in that tier.
Yes was a mistake. Prizes are given backwards in the wrong order. Best prize first level, worst prize last level.

Based on my 3 accounts, and about 30 opponents stats, it looks like it a based purely on the opponents defensive stats, with some variability.

My rationale as to it being total defense instead of level, is I've scored more vs L220s w 500k defense, then L240s with 300k defense. It's not a large sample size, but I that's my hypothesis.

Also biased if you camp. I don't have the best stats out there for my level but they're better than most and I haven't been able to find a hit over 300 points so far. Most people are 50k under me and don't give over 150. :mad:

I saw a screenshot of over 1000 points, the attacker was 300k points under the defender so I think its based off of the difference. (he must have gotten really lucky or hit a busted hacker with fake stats).

Just stick to boss and open 10 events, they'll benefit you a lot more.

Update... Gold coin reward for me is now capped at 34 coins regardless of who I attack or rob, no more and no less, 34 every time. I am absolutely no help at all to my team and it is pissing me off. I have all latest updates. Is anyone else experiencing this???

If you are only receiving 34 coins a hit, this is the wrong event for you because you are too low levelled.

In that case, are you hitting very low stats or much lower levels?
also, I find that your points progressively get larger. When I first started the first syndicate vs. syndicate, I was getting less than 10 a hit, now I can get 150-200 easily.

I have 360+k att at lvl 229. As an experiment I hit a rival at lvl 234 with 397k def, almost 40k higher than myself. I won 2 attacks out of about 7. Both wins I received 34 gold coins. So I then attacked someone at a much lower lvl and def than myself. Still 34 gold coins. Even robberies... 34 gold coins. I've sent a ticket, but obviously won't be sorted in time.

Read the second part of my post, that may help. Try and get couple hundred attacks on rivaks, and see if there's a difference.

Thanks for that info. It confirms what I thought surely would not be the case. Yes I have the latest version, but thanks to a work fieldtrip to the West Australian outback, I completely missed the last syndicate vs syndicate event. It seems as though possibly individual scoring progress has been continued across to this event so those in my position are screwed.

I experienced this in the first tournament event with my second acct. She never got over 8 points per hit. There was one other member in my syndicate who got 20 every time. Since my first acct was getting 300-500 points per hit and the two are only 25 levels apart and I was watching the difference between my attack and the rivals defense I was getting 8 points with my second for a hit with roughly the same difference in stats as I was getting 500 points with my first I can only assume it was another famous Gree glitch. In this tournament event I've noticed another glitch where the syndicate members are temporarily switched with someone else. Our highest scoring member was suddenly named captain meow, had a different avatar and half the points he had previously when I looked. About 15 minutes later it was back to normal and later we had another member switched with Johnny Appleseed for about ten minutes. These are glitches that make everyone laugh and don't effect the outcome of the event. But in the case of the low pts I think my syndicate got a pretty raw deal.

I attacked someone 20k below me for 149 points, and 15k below me for 346 points. To test, I robbed someone 33k above me and got 324 points. Similarly "random" results the rest of the day, so there's some hidden modifier at play.

Pure speculation here, but does anyone else think you score higher points on enemies who rank high in either the individual or syn tournament? Naturally there's a correlation with people with large stats who are also doing well individually or as a team, so generally speaking you want to attack/rob people with high stats. This would just explain why attacking someone high level doesn't consistently produce high points since you don't know how well they're doing in the tournament.

However, I'm level 125 so I don't have a broad spectrum of research. Anyone higher confirm or deny?
