Any thoughts on a 40% off sale anytime soon? The MW crowd seems to get these offers more frequently than those of us who play CC primarily.

In all seriousness, ios users are getting ripped off big time. I know some big gold spenders don't really care but.. I bought 7 vaults on offer for the last war and it came to £384.93.. Yet on android it would have come to around £350. That's £35 or $53 difference. And now this android only offer?

100 free gold when you buy 2 vaults wouldn't compensate for this as you are then effectively still paying £40 extra for 100 gold.

A vault is $99.99 and 1500 gold. The new "treasury" is $199.99 and 3100 gold. The only difference is 100 extra gold. if you buy 2 vaults, its the same. If it goes on sale, they all go on sale. I think you are mixing up the price of the full price vault and the 20% treasury price.

Apple charge a hifher comission that google for anything app related. Part of this is because they have a massice chunk of the market so they can but also because they sell itunes carfs lower than face value to retailers so that the retailer can make a profit off it. One of the reasons google doesn't have play gift cards is so they dont have to charhe a higher comission. You will find this is similar with alot of games

This is true. We set our prices, and then iTunes/Google Play does their conversions for any foreign currency/tax or what have you.

As for the discount being seemingly low, it's not really. The $200 package is actually 1,100 extra gold. Without any extra, the $100 package gives you 1000 gold. The 50% extra makes it 1500. For the $200 one, it's 2000 without a bonus. The extra 55% gives you 3,100 aka a 1,100 bonus. This is all so that it's a better deal than if you buy multiple $5 packages.

I am still surprised from time to time about human nature, our sense of entitlement, and our need to complain about everything. Granted, we are paying customers, but no one is ever satisfied with anything (sorry for the gross generalization). It might just be the generation.
