How do you get better ones? Any good loot drops? My best is that astral bow with 19 attack and I totally don't wanna suck horribly on guild quests and ltq

Just runs the ltq's and you will get way better.
There is no better hero weapons for sale or via drops, have to run the ltq's.

Typically you need to complete through heroic to get worthwhile hero equipment... the regular quest's equipment is rather standard :-(

The best are in the heroic part yes. But the rewards in the normal are normaly better than you can buy with gold or gems too.

Sounds like you just started playing recently and your avatar is a Rogue. What I suggest is put most of your skill points into HS, buy a mountain of gems and go ape sh it on an LTQ for a worthwhile weapon and armor.
