Guys, - No Boost Units

fun fact: I received 6 grunts doing these as we are apparently completing a lot of the mission... The Gree takes it away, and then gives it back =)

Thanks to: Speed Deamon #2 and NJPRO

"Mafia" rewards were for completing the map level that you finished up. Not sure how that will affect the ally count tho.

Got the same thing on mine and it was for completing the map but does not increase your ally count.

I dont know what most think but It looks it takes way more energy to complete just normal mode which is not giving even good units at the moment. I was aiming to complete normal mode tonight but I will give a break just to get some more information. Good luck you all!

Is this the first time they've used non-indestructibles as unit rewards in LTQ (as we see on stage 13/30)? I don't remember this happening before...

this ltq is bad, they have been getting progressively worse, but this one is awful unless prestige has lots of great units.

Yes I think that's correct. What a stupid waste. I'm debating whether I should even bother to complete normal on this one.

No, it has happened before. There were non-indestructible units given out when LTE were first beginning in modern war. They haven't done it in a long time.

I think it was the very first LTE. It was the one that was a PVP event. I remember because I got one unit and then lost it while completing another goal.

Thanks for clarifying they gave out like 4 destrucibales in 1 of them..the excective chinook, wavebreaker, siege tank, and riptide runner..its been a while but all those have since died except the wavebreaker..its got teh lowest cas rate of any loot u can get..its 0.20% which is pretty good for a loot item

Kids, relax and sit this one out. No need to flame saying its terrible or Gree sucks, or anything else negative. Don't do it, enjoy the week before the war. Take your girl out, buy her some lingerie, and do work. Then when the weekend comes she has no excuse to not let you war!

Good luck fellars

Done before, ie with thé Silent Thunder..
Air unit, 164att, looks like white antonov..
(from Gone Rogue Event I think)
Just lost one, cas is low..
DESTRUCTIBLE units aren't worth a dime!
Espclly not 600 gold or so
Simply regard em as .. Concrete ...
Another obstacle only adding up to
Energy consumption .. So.. Price

I swear Gree you people must be retarded.

Put in a damn boost unit. Why have you decided not to do so in the past 6 LTQs????? It doesn't mean anything to you......just pixels on a screen. Yet it makes a ton of your customer spend gold to get it. Wtf?

This will be the second LTQ that I have passed on. (I did do the first 5 missions to pick up 3 units, so not totally passing). And I gotta say, I don't miss them. The rewards simply do not warrant the xp that is required.

To catch you up to where I am currently.

Level 1/26 Enemy Outpost
I didn't have to do the Installation Sentry to complete level 1 but, I did have to do it to move on to level 2. Weird glitch? It actually said I had to do 2 drilling rigs and when I hit the button to go to it it kept popping back to Enemy Outpost and prompting me to hit the Installation Sentry.
7xp, Turantula Hawk, air, 56 attack/104 defense

Level 2/26 Offshore Drilling Rig
Read notes above
Same missions as normal mode
14xp, concrete

Level 3/26 Dictator's Compound
Same missions as normal mode
21xp, Warfare Logistics Ship, Sea, 110 attack/99 defense

Level 4/26 Attack Site

28xp, $15000, concrete

Level 5/26 Enemy Encampment

35xp, Dual Gauss Platform, ground, 162 attack/108 defense

Level 6/26 Shipyard

Level 7/26 Communications Outpost

49xp, Blackhawk Gunner, infantry, 249 attack/107 defense

Level 8/26 Trafficer Base

63xp, Fv Fox Rover, ground, 174 attack/321 defense

Level 10/26 Border Gaurd Complex

Not going to use anymore gold on this, will save it for boss mission or, more likely, on the coming war

was hoping to make up stats for that other massive failure. Looks like boss events is where it's at, even if you have to spend a little gold attacking rivals is the cheapest but i see that changeing soon to as it went from 100 to 2000 last one even tho most got it for free i paid 700 gold to get it..well worth it if u are high lvl..LTQ are a thing of the past..anyone that does those are just wasteing gold..if they like spending a vault and half or 2 for 10k in stats then more power to them

Or is it just the level 13 normal that is destructable.

why do you guys whine about the units. If you bought LE Sets (even 2 LE sets) the att/def numbers you would get would pale in comparison to the att/def numbers you get from finishing the LTQ... It costs less to just do the events...its the best bang for your gold.

I'm hoping that next LTQ would give some health regen boost units or an energy regen unit.

And what of new players (4 months) that don't have the extra 20% recoveries and +2 regens , so we just end up going backwards with only our faction bonuses to do the epic bosses and with only +3 regen /min these ltq are impossible even with pre staging. 4 months ago when they made it possible to get the boost units you had to be able to do the ltq level 40 and unfortunately I was not there yet. Is it even worth continuing on with the game with such a disadvantage???

sraghav42
07-17-2013, 09:13 AM
But think on the other side the people of top 10 faction may have about 80-90% health regen boosts I think.
And if we get more health regen boost they all would have maxed out at one time.
So gree needs to find a way to sort this out.

Sgt Q
07-17-2013, 09:28 AM
Im in a top 10 and my health regen is nowhere near 80 or 90 percent. But all of the bonuses that we do have have been earned through a lot of time and money spent on this game. Whether ppl like it or not...we do deserve to be ahead of most other modern war players. And for ppl that recently stated playing..well thats unfortunate. I missed out on a lot too since I didnt start playing til like late january. But its the same in most games. Think of Call of Duty. Youre obviously not gonna have all the same weapons and perks if youre just starting as someone whos been playing religiously since it was released. You simply haven't earned your stripes quite yet.

Not sure why everyone thinks everyone should be equal. The new players have an advantage in that any new gold units they buy are still worth something. Some of us have tens of thousands of dollars of old units that are now too low to play. So they are behind in boosts units, etc. it's a trade off. It's like saying a new upstart company should have access to the same types of funding and purchasing power as the monoliths. Maybe it's a nice idea in theory, but not a reality based idea.

Maverick0073
07-17-2013, 09:53 AM
The problem is not the fact that you dont deserve them...it is that they are giving soo much xp per event that we new players are leveling way faster than you ever did. So we are becoming high level with pathetic stats. .I would love to spend gold to get some of those bonuses, but it just is not worth continuing when I am just going to get ****ed over by every player that got those bonuses. Maybe they need to give more units with stats like below 100att and def for the first 30 stages ofa 50 stage ltq like they did the first one...these units will be useless to the long term players as most units that count in there stats are in the 100's but would really help lower players.

The way I look at it, the idea is to build and indestructible army. I have a new small weak game now, so I am in the same position, was going to camp longer, but it tired of waiting. Being attacked just dosnt hold the stigma it used to. We ask our buddies to trade raids with us for bp, so who really cares. You lose the non indestructable units, which is fine by me, they not worth anything anyways unless you want to be a strictly defensive player, then you can't compete in many of the events. Keep in mind, you're trying to compete with others at your level, not the big guys. Just collect on time, don't go over vault, and you're going to get left alone anyway. You won't give good bp of you don't have a high rank anyway. I think too many think they are trying to compete at a higher level then they're capable of. My little guy is going to come up, and big splatter the ****ens out of people. And I will have a blast. I've done it before and amazed at how pissed people got when I lost. I lost over half my stats in one week once.lol. Eventually I built him up, and you now know him as mr freeze. Learn no to play at your level, learn the techniques that help at your level. I have six games, at varying levels. I've had opportunity to learn at many times and levels. I've spent huge sums on some games, and zero on others. I learn to play at each ones level. My newest one will never compete at the top( I don't think, though I reserve the right to change my mind) so ermines being strong has its downsides. I get lousy wd points on those games. The few people who can give me speed dial are on my team. Hard to find people to trade bp with that I can get decent bp from

I like listening to you talk speed, you are one of the old original true 'fans' of the game and all its facets and techniques and strategies. You talk sense, I don't always agree, but it makes sense.

Fascinating to hear about your various other games as well, if I didn't work or have a family I'm sure I'd like to run multiple experimental games also. I just wish you'd use the return key sometimes when you type....

Agreed. Worst ltq I've seen. First one I have stopped before I finished normal mode. Energy requirements were not worth it and the loot was terrible - weak & destructible.

I have not spent gold on an ltq in awhile. A sure-fire way to get me to spend gold - offer a boost unit. Those are like crack for all of us MW junkies

Suggestion: if the plan is not to offer a boost item for awhile, or you all don't want to offer really good units, how about an ltq that is laden with insane amounts of valor or cash? ...that would be pretty interesting & I might push through it, if only for the novelty

So I´ve finished now 15/20 in normal. Not using any gold and from what Iam reading I suppose to go no further.

I also level up to fast, LVL49 after like somewhat three and half weeks.. o_o
But Iam not good in sitting out and grow sloooooowly.. I want play and do shilt. I hate waiting ^^
What att/def. you had back then around that Lvl.? Iam just curious. Iam around the 25k now & actually thought Iam not doing that bad (0%Goldspent).

Any advice from the vets how I could/should proceed no to get screwed once Iam Lvl.up constantly..?

Thanks & sorry for a lil OT here..

tvvicee,
I guess you said it yourself. Patience is a virtue. also here. If you play like mad you'll have lots of fun and there's nothing wrong with that. Problem is, you'll always be weak. The best way to play is to increase your a/d per level ratio, not your absolute strength. You're not doing bad yet, but if you keep this up, you will. At low level it's a bit hard, but when you level up further, aim for at least 2K a/d per level. When you reach that, go for 3-4K.

It's not that hard to do while having fun, you'll just have to keep in mind what you'll gain when you do an event. Boss, box and WD events are by far the best bank for the buck. If you'd only do those, you can get really strong, but it'll take you a long while. Be selective with other events as they make you level up real fast.

Have fun
