Its just like what they did for CC; they accidentally made the prizes be awarded backwards because the second one is a 3k/2k unit as well. I'm impressed GREE. Not once but 2 times did this happen

50? I was up to 100. Didn't have time to stop and read goals was just hitting my Rivals Blindly.
Lol could have saved myself a gold refill if i would have stopped to look and realize i didn't have a 3rd goal... :D

You have to figure that 99.5% of active MW players didn't even get this.

Not to be rude but I couldn't disagree more. There are a lot of active paying customers who were not awarded this opportunity because of an error of GREEs behalf. I for one will not spend gold until I feel adulequately compensated. Certain players have been given an unfair advantage as a result of this.

That being said at you have the right attitude with gree. You can't get upset when they make their weekly mistake.

The units are still there in my inventory. I don't think Gree will really care to fix the 'damage' done, only to keep it fro spreading (which they did fast enough).

First of all, its only a few K in units. Second, fixing it may prove to be a pandoras box. I'm very happy with my units, don't get me wrong, but they're making me just a little bit stronger. I only regret that my Bluestacks LLP didnt load in time. That would have tripled his scores..

Confirmed that the units are still in my inventory, still calculated into my stats, and still showing up on my attack rival results screen as being used. The only thing that I'm not sure of is if either two units carry additional bonuses. I've read that they do not, but I'm not sure.

I went to my individual bonuses and neither of the two units I got were listed.

Not that this necessarily means anything, but in Crime City, the '4th' unit in the backwards order gave a bonus, so its still possible that there is a unit with a bonus in this event.

I was in the middle of writing this response, screaming blue murder, calling the whole thing a bunch of names, such BS.......then I checked my inventory to see what crappy prize I got for defeating 10 enemies.....discovered a pleasant surprise in that I too had benefited from the glitch, and yes, my stats have jumped nicely!

Disappointed I only got the one like, but hey, not complaining. I totally understand where the moaners are coming from though. If I had actually missed out this message would have read very differently though, lol

I think its funny how quick they can fix this yet i still see zeros for stats on players profiles in faction requests. I do think your all havin a laugh tho. "This is the end..." These are the first words from Apocalypse Now, my favorite war movie. And now it has crept in to my thoughts for this "war" game.

This latest fiasco is indicative of a reoccurring theme I've noticed from the development team on this game: the ever-changing goal line. It is not fun, nor exciting; it is frustrating and hellacious on consumer expectations. If you make a mistake: own it...make this a super fun event with wild payouts for a couple of days, and people will be talking about if for a while to come.

But no, instead the administration changed course in mid-stream, in a transparent attempt to rake in a couple more bucks. What a wasted opportunity to recharge the game at a time when the development team already had egg on its face from a botched update. The attention to detail is declining, and demonstrates the amount of top-down support and supervision this game is getting. I suspect in 6mos, it will be retired precisely because of these kinds of screw-ups and resulting disinterest and frustration with the game.

I am losing trust in the administration of this game, and I will not part with my income to support a shoddy product or experience.

I am going to terminate my interest in this game...terminate with extreme prejudice.

I won't quit even though I didn't get the advantage that some of the others did. If you don't spend your hard earned money on the game, you might enjoy the game more.

Alright folks,

We do apologize for the brief error that occurred for the rewards. A very small number of folks were able to get the incorrect rewards but that has been fixed. This was not intentional and going forward we will be taking extra steps to ensure that this does not happen again.
