And what did you have to do, and how long did it take? Been reading up, everyone says something slightly different, and I've heard some horror stories. Gonna get a new phone on monday, after war, and I want to get this done AFAP, and without any hiccups. Thanks!

I've gone from iPad to iPod to ipad mini.

I transferred from an ipad1 to ipad3 without any problems

Look, we all knew that an automated system to transfer wasn't going to work. Just collect your information, and send it all in to Gree; and wait. And wait. You may be out of the game for a few weeks. If its a phone transfer, just keep the old phone and connect it to wifi, and you should be able to play until they transfer it to your new device. For those who have lost a device, or who may lose their device in the future (read:everyone) make sure you have every bit of information stored somewhere safe so that you can submit a ticket. I have a saved draft in my email folder with all of my account information already there, just need to fill in the blanks for level and new device unit ID. Lol.

iPhone 4 to 4s with no issues. Did it about 7months ago though.

you need to submit a ticket to GREE to have it done now. I was able to do it just a few weeks ago, but I did have to wait a week or so for the tickets to go through. Being patient and polite goes a long way!

I looked at the thread but nothing pertaining to the current mode of transfer that I saw- I was trying to get the iCloud transfer to work. Recently sirus posted a note stating that they were working on an alternate transfer method... Though I'm not sure what. I did send a ticket on this morning though since I'd given up trying lol :) it was just so much easier before.

I accidentally put my account on a different device tonight. I was hoping to create a new character so I, too, could have an LLP, but when I logged into the game on my new device, my current game was there. I uninstalled the game, created a new Apple ID and downloaded the game with the new Apple ID, but it still pulled up my current account.
I was completely unable to create a new character. My point is that a transfer worked just fine for me using my AppleID/iCloud account.
