Why does the FvF tournament show little stars next to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd ranked players within your faction?

It is a little stupid. Because I would think the "1", "2" and "3" by their names would also help indicate their position. ;)

Not sure which is worse here, the people enjoying their time leading their fictitious pixel army to victory....or the one's stewing in their own resentment over those people's joy. Wait, the choice is obvious.
