The number 1 in soulshard event

Please, can someone tell me what the price is for the number 1 position in this Soulshard event?

It seems that there is a price which I didn't see yet.

The number one in this event " Gree plz help OM ", seem to have more information about this, as the estimated gems used for this position is already around the 30.000 gems.
( Is giving GREE 30.000 gems, a support to help OM?)
And...from where those 360 boxes?? It for sure must cost so much energy to find 360 boxes...
Can someone in the Top200 advise me what the chance rate is for finding a Shard when using the gem opening option? 1 shard out of 3 openings is a fair chance rate I guess...

FYI, I only keep an eye on the TOP250! more gems I certainly don't want to use on this event.

Price is a variable ? did they reset Timer 20 Gems and used Gem opens another 20 Gems, but will not get a Shard everytime , i think you will find its more like 1-6 rather than 1-3, You can get abundance of boxes by doing lower maps but the higher maps give you a better drop percentage.

The "war effort" quest is dropping boxes 1:1 as I have over 200 of them. Of course the prizes are so lame I won't even use gold to open them. You can also get boxes from raiding others.

The last auction event would have cost over 100,000 gems for sure. Top 50 will require 10,000 to 20,000 gems.
It all comes down to the final day with these auction events. Once you get hooked in you have to commit and you will be pushed to go above and beyond your initial limit.
