Does anyone have any clue when the summoning bosses event will start, and what the prizes are if we beat them?

No boss event scheduled until war is over. We just had the King Gabriel event.
Oh, you mean the guild boss event? The one involving the orbs? No clue about it.

My guess is it will start about 5 seconds after you get the Splash screen

Well it now says guild boss will be available after a patch..also there is a timer in the guild/ event icon that doesn't match up with war...unless someone has a better idea of what
that timer is for

I thought it was a timer for the War Effort event..

Sirius posted on another thread that the timer is off and to go by the date provided. He didn't indicate the timer was for anything at that point, only that it wasn't correct.
I'm not sure it'll be a 'Summoning Boss Event' as much as it'll be a 'Guild Boss Event', much like the GLTQ, where the guild will participate in dropping the boss. The Orbs, possibly color relevant (I've only heard of blue being found so far) may play a role as well.

The guild boss splash screen said something about every color being for 1 quest, meaning you lose your orbs when the event is over.

Correct Person,
But to what degree each of the colors is relevant, that's what I'm unsure of. Since we've only found blue... Does that mean the next (first) event will only require blue orbs, or are the other colors drop rate vastly lower, therefore, we just haven't found them yet?
My suspicion is that this first event will only use the blue orbs as I haven't heard of anyone finding a different color.
Another option, (so many) is that each BOSS will require a different color thus the colors are coded to the higher level BOSS's.

What kind of drops or rewards will we get for raid bosses?

Just guessing...but...
I think the timer in game is for the boss event...i think its 15 or 16 days away now???? as for everything else like:
How do you summon a boss?
Who summons the Boss? Guild leader or can an officer do it? What about a member?
How many orbs do you need to summon a boss? Is it one or four ...how many?
Will the battle against the boss work the same way as an individual boss? Maybe like the war instead of a rival guild its a boss??
How many bosses will there be...50?
Will the prizes work the same way....every 5 bosses you get a unit???
I am sure there are many other questions that i have not asked and may come up. I can only hope that we will get the answers......however we will probably be left to figure it all out on our own.....as usual.!!!

To answer some of the rampant speculation on this thread, I'm going to make up some of my own. :)
I suspect it will function much like the last Guild Quest. A Raid Boss event will start, and you will have 5/6/7 days to complete the event. The way it would work would a guild member (likely only the founder but hopefully officers too, please don't let everyone do this...) will be able to spend X orbs to spawn a raid boss, and the boss will remain available to attack for the next two hours. The number of orbs required would go up every boss, like 1/2/4/6/8/10 ... Etc. I suspect there would be similar reward systems as for the individual boss events, like for 9/9 units and for beating boss X, which hopefully won't be boss 50 like it is in now but I wouldn't put it past them. It's also incredibly likely that they would not bracket the boss at all, and everyone would see the same boss. This would put a huge emphasis on raw stats, and a bias towards HLPs. Which would complete the balance of the game, IMO. It would also require rather intense coordination within guilds because trying to get 40+ people together in the same two hour window would kind of suck.
Suggestions if Gree goes this route: open the window up to like four hours and give the bosses more health, require less kills for the rewards. This makes it easier to coordinate to get more members on.
Either way, it would be unlikely to obtain the rewards for free, and would require a coordinated effort.
This is what I see them doing. I've been known to be wrong before.
