This is the only type of box event there only be "one winner" for the top prize, no thanks ill pass on this one, the event just barely started and the top one has already 352 shards i smell mucho cash there its not even worth it, ill just wait for the next LTQ a lot better chance there for earning top units...

When I woke up about 7 hours ago, I needed 34 shards to get in the top250. Currently I only need 27 to get top 250 and I have not opened any boxes; hence have no shards!

Silly little people, haven't you people realised by now that this is the same ranking as the last quest? Gree hasn't cleared the table from the last time. You will notice that severoth who was the top of the table is now banging away again up the table. Anyone who starts this quest is reset. Anyone who hasn't and was in the top 50 still appears on the table, if they haven't been pushed aside.

The best I can see is severoth and Gryffyn are battling this out.
I would suggest that nobody gets too excited about having to spend great amounts of gems to catch up because it is an illusion. So unless you are going for no 1 take it easier...

This event is not for me and many others I have spoken to! The prizesfor the event are not worth the outlay unlessyou've got a truck load of cash together in the top 50

Agreed Ratma. Anyone other than those with huge bank balances is going to stay far away from this box event. And one can see this from the general inactivity. Really, they should have made this a 10 box event like the ... (controls emotion) ... Cupid's Bow box event. Maybe have that extra unit with the 33% energy savings as an additional prize for whoever had most shards (although I wonder how much people would pay for even that unit). Overall, a BORING NON EVENT for most players which could have been avoided with the barest of forethought.

Well in 22 hours I've 4 shards! First the wrong leaders board, and now it looks like that you must spend minimal 10000 gems for the number 1 position??
Seriously, Are there people who spend so many gems for an event like this??

( When people spent so much money on an event like this, probably the same kind of people bought mill. Gold for their guild bonuses ;) )

It just does. And yes, it does that too. It's a nice bonus, but not worth the spend.

The leader board was frozen as usual with one hour to go. Refresh button was now gone. I was at mid-30s going for top 50. Checked again several minutes later and now I was at 49. Quit game and came back. Event was over and I finished at 49.

How can the leader board be frozen and then 15 to 20 players jumped ahead of me???

Nino, the board is frozen, but play continues. There is always a race to finish in top 50 and you go blind the last hour.
