PVP event still going?

Why didn't the PVP event end when the countdown hit zero? There were 2 minutes remaining, then I checked a few minutes later to see the final results, only to see just shy of 24 hours on the clock. I don't want to rack up even more EXP to hold my position for 24 hours of overtime.

After closing and reopening the app, the event icon is gone and I got my prizes. Guess the 24 hr added time is just another glitch.

My stats dropped big time. I had updated game a few weeks back. I knew there were changes then. I went from 152 attack to 133 after this event. I had placed in top2500 ind and top250 synd. Gree can never get their crap straight!!

Well after re starting the game a 3rd time. The stats went back to where they should be. So much frustration from a game....i'm going back to Simpsons tapped out.lol

On closer inspection, I'm seeing the same thing Euchred. Individual prizes are there but not the syndicate prizes.
