It's gonna be awesome I bet. I forgot what the notification said, but did it say 'Ancient Dragons?'

If it's right, I'm glad there's going to be dragons, because throughout the course of the game I didn't see alot of dragons, other than the boss at Flaming Wildwood and Drax the Dragon Rider.

My guess is its a boss w/ 1billion xp, every guildy attacking at their own regen rate. First Wednesday of July, 4 dragons, one new dragon a week. Probably have a reg weekly boss as well for the unguilded. We prob will get GvG Thursday or the following Thursday.


If I were to make a suggestion, attach certain tiers of armors up through mountanvine (what was right before half dragon/tortoise?)
& these old, now useless boss armors would get a x2 bonus. If I'm right about the 1 a week this would be a great way of rewarding long time players.

I'm going to throw a guess out and say it will be like the weekly epic bosses but for guilds as a whole to take down! That, or an expansion to the current map, both are totally fine by me!

Most likely, in the same way that low level knights are at a disadvantage against the epic boss. There would be no competition if low level guilds could easily clear it.

I doubted the prospect of this being a guild event, since the July 3rd event was being shown for Android and there are no guilds as yet for Android

however I just signed in and now the upcoming events show 20% off DPC's and nothing mentioned of the upcoming ancient dragons, so perhaps it will indeed be a guild related event, and for iOS only

My thoughts exactly! I'm currently level 94, and I haven't spent any money on the game! The process of advancing through the game and gaining XP is slower, but it's MUCH more rewarding!

It's not that much slower. The only difference in leveling speed would be the armors you get through DPC. You can still level extremely fast without gems since you can't buy health(I think).

I personally think that Gree should put this big event on hold until they have dealt with and have a fix for the recent bugs that seems to be caused by the recent game patch/update.

This might be chaos altogether again for them and the players if things get worse as some other players are also reporting to have lost armors, unable to retrieve their knights, having errors (not iOS 7 connected), losing all Training Fields, etc. I don't want a repeat of the issue before where we lost a lot of armors, lost upgrades etc.

I'd rather wait patiently until these things get sorted out, then we can all enjoy this upcoming big event together. I think this is for the best interest of all parties. I'm not trying to spoil the fun of those unaffected, but I believe this is a reasonable thing to ask with the current state of players affected, me included.

I have 0 issues with the game (lucky me) but i agree with you. It must be realy frustrating to have those problems. Fix first, update content after.

no specific hour was given so all we can do is be patient. And don't worry bout the banner, it updated to 20% off dpc (last time i checked was 5 hours ago)

I got a big update, which loaded quite a while and it forced to restart K&D. But I can't find anything changed. Maybe I'm on too low level to see it...

Same here. I'm level 107, but I don't see a new area/quest.

That update was the removal of the summoning stone sale...no longer 5 gems to summon old bosses

its a weekly boss thing death, if you get all 4 of the + version of the next 4 weekly boss(ancient dragons) you get a bkal+.

it was quite predictable actually that it was a weekly boss since android got the banners as well but doesn't have guilds and i was being released on a wednesday

Is it just me or does the animation on this boss seem faster, or maybe more crisp? Or maybe since they're grouping them into a 4 week thing, maybe they took some extra time with it? And I must say, I'm digging the look of this armor.

God i hope you don't need to craft + versions... I never got to 43 once and i'm lvl 78 :(

it look that way to me too, it seems like they stepped up their animation quality for the event

I could get that, but I'm going to be really tight on gold for a while. Not sure if a cape is worth spending gold to craft normal versions of the armors.
